An Update:
We have arrived back home with no drama. The truck used a lot less oil on the return loop than it did going out. I attribute this to the Cobb tow tune and running in Sport instead of Tow/Haul.
Next steps are getting the valve covers replaced and then addressing any other engine...

YOU HAVE MY FULL ATTENTION with the PCV comment!! My assumption was that an oiled up PCV valve would hint at a problem not a perfectly clean one!

Trouble Shooting so far:
Pulled and checked all cold side plumbing. No issues there at all. Intercooler tubes had less oil than expected.

The truck does fall in the range for the TSB… Unfortunately the warranty aged out two years ago and miles out on this trip. I did pull the PCV and its was spotless.

From what I can see there is no engine connection on the dirty side of the air filter.

No external leaks.
Aged out of warranty.
No noticeable loss of power but I drive slow with the trailer.
There was minimal oil consumption prior to this trip. (Minimizes the probability of the valve cover thing)
