    The metal is intact and functioning I believe as normal. It’s the button that has the plastic lever on bottom of it that is supposed to meet the metal but it keeps popping on top of metal and sliding by it and getting stuck on opposite side.

    Thanks will give it a try. Went to go push button again this morning and it got jammed again. So irritating. The mechanism is cheap plastic that meets the metal lock mechanism and don’t really know what next solution will be. Nothing is bent and nothing is broken.
