I ordered my upgraded Fox Racing shocks today from Forged Off-road. Should get them in about 6 weeks. I also ordered an IWES eliminator kit from RCV Performance. This is the third time that friggin IWES check valve has started to fail on me. Front hubs are grinding and squeeking again. I’m done...

Next mod will be 37” tires, Fiberworx fenders, upgraded shocks, and maybe some Method wheels.

I also upgraded my brakes to the Z36 kit. I have no measurable data, but in my head I’m feeling less brake fade when I tow a trailer. My original rotors were toast so the Z36 upgrade was a no brainer instead of stock replacement.

I did get the lights done. The first toggle switch in the cockpit operates them. I like it a lot. I’ll take a pic with them on this weekend and post.

I have used stock tires, Goodyears, Swampers, and Toyo R/Ts, and I vote for the Toyo tires hands down. They make no road noise, weigh close to the same as stock, handle great on the highway, and most importantly, beat the socks off the stock tires off road- mud, snow, rocks, they are great. And...

I have not wired them up yet. I’ll try to tackle that this weekend. Making the mounting brackets and bolting these up was not hard, just time-consuming. The bumper came with a slot bracket running all the way across the front of it just inside the mesh screen. I cut off the center section of it...

I added some lights inside the bumper. I’ll post pics tomorrow. I had to fabricate brackets, but I mounted two pairs of 2x2” LED lights and it looks pretty decent. $80 from Amazon well spent!

As for the bumper itself... I like it! It is only a few pounds heavier than the stock one. It has a nice powder coat. It bolts to the factory mounting points and came with hardware, good instructions, mesh screen and L-brackets for mounting it or for lights... It definitely gives me a ton more...

All I had to do to make the winch work with it was cut out a little section of the mesh screen insert for the cable. Done. It took about 2.5 hours to do the whole swap. Now I have to deal with the nasty gap between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the grill. It’s not a bumper design...

On another note, while I am tinkering with the bumper, winch, and skid plate, I will try to make one of my toggle switches on my console work as a manual override for the electric fans. Twice now I have gone splashing through deep water that came up through the radiator and either broke a fan...

I’ll chime in. I just ordered the bumper from the you link you listed above. I should get it in a week or so. I modified my stock bumper on some rocks, ha! I have a 2014 Raptor. I also have a Smittybilt hidden winch so I’ll be figuring out how to get my winch fair lead to mount through the front...
