Only FYI, My 2018 has started doing this now and dealer said its the wastegate and normal. Guess I will deal with it until I cant and try the Hillman spring fix lol
Ya like CRC said, go Bronze.... Bronze looks good on Grey, adds a little color. And if you hate it, just don't clean the wheels for a few months and the brake dust will turn them black :p
My older Methods were black and wanted some color on the wheels.
No, those are the true beadlock rings...
There is a small gap between the edge of the wheel where the tire mounts and the edge of the protection ring, yes.
I honestly thought it was going to be larger than what it is.
And that was actually why I didn't order the rings when I initially ordered the wheels, because I did not want it to...
Ya it is a darker bronze, and I really liked that about these RRWs as well, looks really good in person and not too gold.
I love Methods wheels too, but their bronze just looks more gold and cheapy to me....
Have the Icon front collars all the way up, Icon rear leaf springs at lowest setting.... RR7-H 17x8.5 et0.... 37x12.5 KM3s..... zero rubbing, nothing at full lock and in any daily driving situation.... can not speak for hard off roading.
I trimmed a very minor amount of the front wheel well...
I had the same issue, I have a 2018 with around 50K miles and the rear was sagging so bad.... you set a cup of coffee on the tailgate and you have a Carolina squatted Raptor....... I HATED the nose high look.
I have about 3k miles on the Icon's (at the lowest setting) and the rear sits slightly...
Yes, that's bronze! Love the shade RRW uses, its a darker bronze...
And no, sorry if my og post was confusing, these wheels are the 17x8.5 et 0 - RRW RR7-Hs
My old set that I replaced with these were 20x10 method 605s.
Thank you man HAHA just got them on so as soon as I have some time, I'm def going to get some more pictures taken.
LOL this was straight from tire shop, I think they rub some sort of tire shine on it
Question on this man, do you have the beadlock rings just bolted on with the tire mounted traditionally, or are you mounted using the beadlock rings?
I want to get the ring for them... either the black alu. protection one, or the beadlock one... (which realistically I would probably never need...
Thank you for sharing man, that is good to know. I think I am going to go the 37x12.5 KM3 just so I can get the wheels on sooner than later... and who knows when the 13.5s will be back in.
Ya I got them in Bronze and I throw up some pictures on here once I get them on!
I am going to miss my...
Looks awesome man! Thank you for sharing. I got the RRW RR7-H's in 17x8.5 and 0 offset so pretty much going to be exactly like your photos!
I wish the 13.5 was available because it would be nice to have that extra meat from the width, but the 12.5s look awesome too.
Thanks again!
@Tlox Hey Man, circling back on this thread, I picked up some 17in RRWs and pulling the trigger on the 37in KM3's.
Did you do the 12.5 width? 13.5s are gone and BFG said no ETA on when back in stock.
Do you happen to have a front shot of the truck you could share?
Thanks man!
Anyone have pics of the RRW RR7-H wheels on a Gen 2 Raptor?
Thinking of switching it up and really like the look of these but want to see some different angles on the Raptors.
I saw the picture in the aftermarket wheels thread, but wanting to get some more shots if anyone has any.
Thank you!
I am running them now, they are excellent pads and have made a noticeable difference in brake performance over the stock pads.
And yes, I brushed and cleaned up the stock clips and used those.
The only thing I do not like about these pads is how loud they are, be prepared for squeaking brakes...
@Tlox your truck looks so awesome man... I have been really considering the KM3's and am a little afraid to go 37's so was going to run the 325/60.
What are your wheel specs? And any issues?
I have the Method 605 NVs 20x10 and pretty sure with the super aggressive offset of the 20x10s, 37s...
I was thinking the same, I have always run around 38.
Of course the tire shop filled mine back up to 48, any issues with running them that high?
I will admit the truck seems to ride better with them higher (on the street). Get a little more bounce, but its not unbearable
Thanks man. I absolutely loved my 17" rebounds and if I spent more time beating her up off road, I would have stuck with 17s.
But this is the look I was wanting to get with this truck... and it is still plenty capable off road.
The icon collar kit for the front. And yes, the offset was much more aggressive then the 17 rebounds. I will see how the rear sits after I adjust the front then decide on anything for the rear, rear is stock right now.
