I decided to go with the 3rd option - add a leaf. I did this one because the tent weighs 130lbs, the cage and rack weigh ~ 120lbs, I run with a tool box that is ~100lbs, and when I am offroad I usually have a 37" spare and a bunch of other gear in the back so I think I will be running in the...
Good to know. I am still running the stock rears now but I do intend on running the ICON rears soon just waiting for them to arrive. The Icons give you more droop so I am going to upgrade the lines.
Awesome! That's exactly what I need. Thanks for the info!

I hear ya! I do not want to deal with fenders any sooner than I have to haha.
I have not run the truck offroad lately but I did just install the ICON Vehicle Dynamics rear leaf springs and they are AMAZING! I cannot say enough about how well they ride.
When I was out at KOH a few weeks ago...
Hey guys, I just installed my ICON rear leaf pack this weekend using the 3rd option since I run with a bed rack, roof top tent, tool box, 37" spare and a bunch of other gear most of the time when I am offroad. The ride is excellent and I am loving these springs so far.
I do have a question...
I built a low bed cage so that I can lug it around on a daily basis. It does not affect my MPG where it is positioned now.
You could remove and install it whenever you want pretty easily I suppose. The standard universal mount is 8 bolts but I have modified my bed cage such that you can mount...
No its amazing! The flat floor, mattress inside, the ability to leave all my bedding ready to go, space, quality and elevated position make it the perfect place to sleep in my opinion! I can have it open in 2 minutes and closed in about 3.
I swapped out my ADD Stealth bumper with the ICON Vehicle Dynamics Impact Offroad Armor Raptor bumper and I am really digging it. The quality is on point. They use 1/8" steel plate for a majority of the bumper and did not take short cuts on fit and finish. The skid plate is a complex weldment...
Check out my build thread where I have posted in detail how I installed the ICON Leveling kit myself with hand tools in my garage and what I have done so far to fit the 37" tires. I will keep updating as I find more information about the fix...
Im not totally sure yet but I plan on figuring this out... Right now I am on stock rear leaves. I plan on picking up the ICON variable leaf spring pack soon and doing some modifications to the fender wells. My gut says rear lift alone would not be enough to solve the issue if you plan on going...

The month after I bought the truck I decided I wanted to upgrade my front bumper so I bought the ADD Stealth bumper which I really liked. After I year of running the ADD bumper I saw the ICON Impact Raptor Bumper and really liked the styling so I decided I would swap...

ICON Vehicle Dynamics - Attitude Adjustment Collar Leveling Kit Install
I decided a long time ago that I was going to upgrade to 37" tires whenever my stock 35" tires wore out. Well, I moved across country and hit about 30k miles on the truck and it was time. I thought I would be...
This is my build - doing it the way that best fits my needs and what I do:
I like to go fast
I chase a class 1 car in Baja
I like to camp
For these reasons I chose to build a truck that was somewhere between an overland rig and a pre-runner.

I just installed the ICON 2.25" Attitude Adjustment Collar, some 17" ICON Rebound wheels, and 37 x 12.5 BFG KM3s on my truck 2 weeks ago. I had to do some minor trimming in the front to prevent rubbing on the street and all was good.
I have since been offroad in Anza Borrego and found that the...
