Many years later, this just happened to me. 1st to 5th two times in last two weeks. Had to pull over and get truck turned off or back to neutral. 2011 Raptor...112k miles. Covered under this TSB and dropped off at OG dealer today.
I used Forscan to fix hyper flash on my 2011 when i replaced all the tail lights with LEDs. Also used it to help my buddy with a regular F150 who upgraded his tire size to fix his speedometer with right hex code for his tire size.
Congrats. I was in similar boat about 10 months ago. I did the shocks, tires, steering rack, spark plugs, new rotors/pads and some other fluids. It wasn't cheap, but still cheaper than a new truck. Not getting rid of my Gen 1.
Little late to this party...but here goes the 6k maintenance on my 2011 w/ 107k:
New pads/rotors
Spark plugs
oil change
tire rotation
blend door actuators x 4 + Dash Pull (This was the big one, only needed 1, but it was the dash pull one, told them to get all 4)
rack and pinion (2nd big one)...
I just recently went through this problem. Actuator that controlled heat to driver side and back went out. After all the research I did, looks like a lot of work had to be done to get to that actuator (dash pull). Took it to local repair shop and paid for them to pull dash and replace not...
