Can you elaborate on the conditions for your 4.8s 0-60 results? What mods (CAI, FMIC, Exhaust, etc.) and truck settings (normal, sport, Baja, 2H, 4A, traction control on/off, etc.)?
Yes, I want to retain the keyless entry access on my 802A. If you don't need the sensor, I would imagine the rear driver handle of a Screw would fit with less modification and it would cost less.
Sorry to hear you got broken into. I doubt you'll have any luck getting insurance to cover the passenger handle. You have to modify a part to fit in a location where it wasn't designed to go. In my case, I had a $500 deductible so insurance didn't factor in at all. I bought the handle ($90), got...
Yes. Cobb CAI, FMIC, DP and AP. Stock exhaust. Working on getting an e-tune. I don’t have any dyno numbers, but I can tell you it’s a completely different truck.
A few years ago, I had a heavily modded 2015 WRX. I got it protuned locally by a guy that specialized in Subarus, but 2015 was the first year that the FA20 motor was in the WRX and my protuner had only touched a couple of them prior to mine. The protune was good, but I felt like there was still...
Yes, I installed the Intercooler myself. It’s not too difficult really. There’s just a lot of steps. I took my time and it took me about 5 hours. If you don’t want to do it yourself, try taking it to a performance shop. I’m curious what other people paid to get it installed.
Thanks, but that doesn't really answer my question. Maybe someone else will know.
How many miles do you have on the brake kit and how is it holding up? Any issues?
For you guys with the Alcon BBK, what brake lines are you running since they aren't included in the kit? I saw that Crown Performance was recommended, but the Crown Performance Raptor brake line kits I've seen online say they only include lines to the front calipers. Is there a rear line kit I'm...
I think you have to ask yourself what your end goal is. If you're looking for significant power gains with just an intake, FMIC and tune, then pass on the DP and use your money somewhere else. If you want increased exhaust sound, and the ability to squeeze every little HP out with a protune...
The shop that installed my Cobb downpipes said the first time they bolted everything up, it wasn't clearing the heat shield so they had to loosen some of the bolts a little to get everything centered before retightening all the bolts. I'm not experiencing any rattle with it installed.
With DP...
I was first introduced to Bully Dog when I added a Magnuson Supercharger to my previous truck (5.7L V8 Tundra) and the Bully Dog tuner was part of the package. My experience with Bully Dog was mixed. There was some anomaly with the compatibility of the tune and my specific truck that took awhile...
Most spares are only provided by OEMs for emergency situations so you can drive yourself to the nearest tire shop. The spares usually aren’t rated for highway driving and aren’t meant for extended use. I’m not surprised Ford didn’t bother balancing or providing an extra TPMS. I’m just glad it’s...
Yeah, I bought the pedal commander last year after reading all the rave reviews. Tried it out for a month, but it didn't do anything that I couldn't do myself by pressing my foot down a little further. I ended up selling it on craigslist.
I now have the Cobb AP with Cobb CAI and was using the...
The AP doesn’t have a bluetooth or wireless feature. It needs to be connected to the truck’s OBD2 Port via the included cable. I think you’re able to set it up to show whatever gauges you want upon startup, but not certain. I personally don’t leave it plugged in
I believe there are 3 harnesses that are no longer used. Grill shutters, stock IC shutters and IC fans, all of which are completely removed.
There definitely is more space underneath now, but after reinstalling the skid plate, everything should be just as protected. I ended up reinstalling the...
I finished installing the COBB FMIC today. I agree... the instructions are a little confusing when it gets to the grill modifications, but I figured it out. The air temp sensor is at the bottom in the middle of the grill inside the shutters. I removed the shutters first which made it easier to...
For anyone else doing the handle swap mod, make sure you also remove the metal pin by the blue wire and reinsert it the opposite direction since the handle is upside down now. Otherwise, gravity will eventually work it out. I updated my post above to mention this step.
