Is it the original battery because it sounds like the battery needs to be replaced. It may have enough charge to power the accessories but not enough amps to turn over the starter. As others have noted, pull the battery and take it to O'reilly or AutoZone and have them test it.
Mine had around 160. It was a dealer transfer from their dealership location up north to my local dealership, they drove the truck down vs using a transporter.
Maybe this in your chance to get them pay for a new ADD rear bumper.
If the cost of the ADD bumper is more than a new painted stock one, tell them you would pay the difference and you get yourself a nicer heavier duty bumper for maybe a couple hundred.
I noticed in the lower picture that there is a plastic/metal surround on the lock cylinder and was wondering if that is something you added or was that put on by Ford?
If it was a factory part I'm wondering if it could be put on the Gen 2 to prevent the plier/vice grip break in method.
I ran a couple sets of Hawk LTS and a set of EBC’s on my last F-150 and preferred the more linear feel the Hawks had. The Hawks weren’t to hard on the rotors either. I didn’t off road it much but used it more as a hauler for my 2 track bikes and all my gear. I put 240K on that truck.
I will note...
Thanks for the information. I have a RF remote shutter release but thanks for the note on the 3 second timer. There's been a few times I forgot to check the battery on the remote and had to default to the timer. Antelope Canyon in on my wife's bucket list on places to go
Shipping delays on materials is a definite truth.
My company has been waiting for material that was loaded on a container and on a ship back in late Dec but due to delays at the ports the the ship didn't leave the dock till early Jan. The ship sat at Long Beach Port beach for 5 wks due a a...
Darn, just realized I didn't have the instant notifications checked off to see you had posted pictures of the catch can. Well, if it falls through please let me know.
There was a iOS update in the last few days so that may have affected the sync.
I haven't seen this issue yet but you can see if doing a complete shutdown and reboot of you iPod. If that doesn't work you can possibly try deleting and repairing the iPod to your truck
Not sure if the shock sensor toggles on and off with the intrusion sensor.
I know what some other people have done in the past is to put a piece of tape over the intrusion sensors to to keep them from setting off the alarm to save them the hassle of turning it off through the settings. They...
You need to confirm this but I think if you have the intrusion/motion sensors (you should have the 4 sensor holes in your overhead console) you should have the perimeter plus sensor already installed by the factory.
As other members have noted, it is a impact sensor and senses vibrations. Best way to adjust is hit your tow hooks or trailer hitch with something hard to set your sensitivity.
Be careful though because if it's to sensitive, a loud car/motorcycle exhaust, large heavy trucks driving by, or a...
Pretty sure he can also source a used Raptor intercooler and fan setup on ebay pretty cheap too. Someone was selling one on my local craigslist for about $150-200 a couple weeks ago
I had a quick question since you've done your brakes once already.
Is it true that there's no wear sensor nor anti-squeal springs on our brakes that would flag us the pads are worn/thin?
I use to run the Hawk LTS on my old 98 F-150 and liked the feel and stopping power on them.
The pads lasted about 34-45K miles and was hauling loads of 700-1.1K lbs fairly often. They were a little harsh on the rotors but it didn't matter because I usually changed the rotors when I changed the...
