Nope, no supercharger. I’ve been down that road with my previous build and although it was fun on the street it did very little to improve the trucks performance in the dirt. Honestly there’s been very few times that I’ve wanted any more power out of this thing and for me personally I don’t feel...
I recently set side some time to get this old :poop: caught up on maintenance, here's what got done.

Finally some updates to this build! After a 13 month wait my shocks finally showed up and a couple of weeks ago I got them installed. Been super busy with work so I haven't had a chance to test them out but I will report back when I do. I also came across a good deal on some Morimoto XB lights...
Still patiently waiting on bypasses but can't stop myself from continuously ******* with the truck in the meantime haha. Went ahead and tackled the header install this week and for anyone wondering, it's just as bad as everyone says. About 20 hours start to finish, including some fabrication of...
Some more updates while I wait on my bypasses. Warrantied out the rotors and ended up deciding on the motorcraft severe duty "blue" pads. Initial impressions are that they feel great and seem to get sticky with a little bit of heat, I will report back on overall performance once I get the chance...
The wait for my bypasses continues........ but in the meantime got some new fenders squared away. I may write an in depth review of the ADV install and highlight some of the major shortcomings of the product but in short the ADV fenders are a very poorly made product. John from ADV was great in...
You're reading it right, JDM is expensive but their tunes are worth it. Ive used them for boosted and N/A 6.2 tunes and they have been great. The trans tuning is the biggest difference I've noticed between them and other tunes.
KHC and Camburg make conversion buckets for the front, you can check out my build thread for pics. Super easy just chop out the old ones and weld in the new ones. I would recommend it for anyone not planning to swap to a true long travel kit. Rears as Gen1 said can also be used with a conversion...
I would go with your third option. I found the deavers to be a night and day difference. I’ve had good luck with full length tie rods, personally I don’t see much benefit if any in the half length ones. Regardless of what you decide to do with shocks I would recommend swapping the coil buckets...
A quick update to this build. Still waiting on rear shocks from Fox. Accutune says they should show up in March. In the meantime I did some maintenance and added a few small stuffs.

You bring up a good point but I would guess that the nominal difference in wheel speed under normal driving and turning would not be enough to cause the Torsen to redistribute torque. This is how lsd systems are designed, allowing just enough uninhibited slip for normal driving and turns but...
Since getting this bad chicken put together in June i've managed to put about 6k miles on her, of which a little more than 1000 have been off road. Heres a few pictures from those adventures. If anyone on here is runnning a RTT with pups I highly, highly recommend the Doggo Ramp by Desert Armor...
Some updates to the build! I was inspired by @L0L and had to get myself a Dirt Dynamix umbrella haha
The original setup for the iPad with the Mob Armor enclosure was simply to heavy to use with the Baja Forged mount and I wasn't happy with the amount of moving around it did when off road so...
Think the IWE can be completely replaced without removing the tie rod end, its a little tight but should work. As far as wear, with the IWE delete the front diff and CV shafts rotate with the wheels 100% of the time, regardless of whether or not you are in 4WD. With the IWE the front diff and...
I guess you could call the shock buckets a number of things haha but their intended purpose is to move the coilover mount in the gen 1 to mimicking the position of the gen 2 mount. I did briefly consider deleting the IWE but since this is a daily driver the added mx to the IWE system was well...
@1BAD454SSv2 how did mounting the kenwood remote head up there end up working out long term? Was there any issue with vibration or movement due to the weight of the head? Also did you just pinch the headliner between the two PCI plates? Thanks in advance!
