I can’t get this stupid grin on my face. Can’t get enough of the SC whine. Thinking of maybe going to 3.50 pulley, so I’ll save some gas.
Burnt half a tank in one day of driving....:)
Maybe a 4?
Install was easy, but time consuming. The documentation needs to really be looked at on some sections.
if it was not for MTF and Johnpappy’s posts... it would have been much harder.
my gotcha was the intercooler reservoir mount points. It fits for the 2011-2014 Gen1 and not...
DUDE!!! Thanks!!!
Okays this is what I figured out...
The Throttle harness is straight forward, one end goes to TB sensor, other TB motor, and the last connector to the original TB connector in engine bay..
The 2 way extension (which is not mention in docs), is for the BEVIS connector which is...
FINALLY able to set a date for the SC install... Plan on installing on the long Turkey Day weekend..
I have a question for those of you that have already installed the Whipple SC..
Where does these connectors connect to?
The main documentation really suxs..
>>121. Pre-route the inlet air...
Thanks MTF!!!
Yup got the tunes file, however, was trying to get the pre built SCT tunes in the X4 to work. Nothing worked...
Contacted SCT support, they sent over a test tune for me to upload into the X4. Didnt work.
During programming made sure no voltage drops, radio, HE fans, AC, etc...
Okays... Gots a new SCTx4 from Whipple to use with their SC (fortunately SC is not installed yet).
When I initially connected the SCT to my 2010, I had a few vehicles to choose from. I selected 6.2L F150.
It communicates, it says married. However, when I try modifying values like neu rev...
Hey bsimms89,
Would it be possible to share which manual, and where did you get the pdf? I'm looking at swapping out the oil pump also now....
Many thanks!!!
:)
Yeah I know!!! Its been bugging me also... I'm pretty much gonna redo it, however, if you look at the documentation I got. The RED ARROW points to the top mounting brackets.. So I just followed what was suggested by Whipple..
I was afraid of that... Guess I'll need McGyver something for the IC reservoir.
For now this is where I placed the relays until I can truly make up my mind as to where I should these relays... I had to open a ticket to Whipple because I cant (aside from cut/splice) connect the 2 relays units...
Sup guys... Just got my Stage 2 kit with the new 68mm throttle body..
I've already mounted the HE. Tried installing the Intercooler reservoir. The mount points didn't match the hole patterns on the driver side frame. Left pics and email to support over the weekend, and no reply on Monday...
Got my first snag... The intercooler reservoir mount points do not line up with my 2010 SCAB. I have a hunch that the mount points were for the 2011-2014 Gen1. Not the OG 2010..
Was thinking of taking the reservoir to someone who can remove and weld a new plate so I can mount it to my truck...
Thanks wakko0o !
Yanked the whole harness out and got the part number. Went to Ford, ordered it. Spent all day today threading it back in..
Thanks for the moral support brother :)
Hi All,
My Gen1 threw a P0962 error message and the transmission is not able to lock into 1st and 2nd. Earlier I had to remove the passenger side valve cover to replace the old leaking gasket.
background:
In order to remove the valve cover, I disconnected the right side PCM connector and...
I did the opposite... I ordered the +2 Deaver and Icon bump stop.. Guess I'll need a traction bar now

Hi,
Sorry for the late post as I just purchased an SC from Whipple for my Gen1, and trying to see what can and should be done prior to installing the SC to minimize future removal for repairs.
Are you planning on upgrading your alternator and replace the stock oil pump with a billet oil pump...
