    KO2's ok for overlanding...or what's better?

I'm running Goodyear duratracs on my raptor. I've had great luck with them so far, they clean out of the mud decently, and they are great in the snow. And they are pretty quite imo. They handled the Idaho winter pretty good, much better than the nokian rockproofs I was running last year.

    KO2’s Falling Apart :(

I was running nokian rockproofs when I replaced my kos. They are really good tires, especially for that volcanic rock. The tires Truly live up to the name. I ended up changing the tires out for winter in favor of wrangler duratracs because the rockproofs absolutely suck in the snow.

    DIY 6.2 Spark Plug Change

I love how everyone else's dealer quotes are so low. I was quoted 1200 bucks for plugs and wires at my local Roseburg dealer... I'll be changing my plugs this week, myself lol. Thanks for the tips guys!

    Off road navigation

I use a tablet, and run backcountry navigator. One time fee with the app, there is subscription addons like BLM and private land boundaries. Works great for me

    Forged Offroad Spherical Bearings

I have had mine on almost 2 years now, I have not had any issues with the bearings. I will say that it does make more noise as the shock articulates. As for longevity I haven't had 2 replace them yet. If there is any upkeep I haven't done any, other than having the bolts changed out, and...

GEN 1 Getting squared away for overlanding

Also added a fire extinguisher for fire season, and I was surprised how much room was actually in the bed for the tent plenty of room for the wife and I. Instead of an air mattress we are using a thick oversized yoga mat.

2018 Open Invite - Coyote Work's Overland Trip

I seen that on the video, loved how you took off across the dry lake bed. Lol that is usually what I'd do lol. How did you camp? I've been looking into this for a while. My old lady doesn't like to sleep on the ground much, particularly in my area, not so worried about snakes here, more so bears...

Thinking of getting into a raptor

seems high to me, at that mileage i wouldnt pay over 35k. as for what to look at, well skid plates are a good start, the thin metal is easily bent so you will know if its been offroad. shocks can be expensive, especially if the person helping you likes to break shit. anyway lol motor is solid...

things to check at 100,000 miles

When I went for my last oil change I was around 93k on my odometer. The dealership recommended that all fluids be changed, coolant, front and rear differentials, transmission, and transfer case. A tune up, replacing plugs and wires, and changing out the air filter, and cabin air filter. They...

    Nokian Rockproof

Well I decided to get them, I really like them. Definitely louder the the stock kos. They seem heavier too. We took a backroad home and tested them out on the sand and down a dirt road. In the sand they dug down deeper than I wanted them to, but I didn't get stuck. On the dirt road they did...

    Nokian Rockproof

How is the wear on them? If you don't mind me asking. That's has to be a consideration for me, I can't keep buying tires all the time

    Nokian Rockproof

well guys I have been looking at tires, had someone on the facebook site recommend them, if your running them tell me about them. I have never heard of them before, and they are considerably cheaper than other options(which makes me Leary). i was quoted $1295 for mounting and shop fees, also...

New to forum looking to purchase a used Raptor.

get under the truck and look at the skid plates, if you see alot of dirt or grass hanging out on the frame its been used for its intended purpose. also the fox shocks need rebuilt every 50,000 miles to keep that plush ride. i have not had any major issues with mine, wish i would have got a 2013...

Installed 2 40" radius bars behind grille

Lol until you come around the corner and light up the county sheriff sitting on the edge of the road. I have the small cube lights in the bumper cutouts. I've been warned already lol. I like how bright they are, but they suck in the fog. And since I live in Oregon, fog gets really thick and...

Installed 2 40" radius bars behind grille

I like how it is above and below the grill lettering. I'd imagine you see alot better. So does the grill block the any of the light? I have been toying with the idea of this but ultimately I'll end up passing on it because I am not able to use them on road. But it looks great

Raptor Community - Stock 2.5 shock rebuild exchange program.

Update This experience was amazing. I sent my shocks in for rebuild, and will be a returning customer. I had the pleasure of working with Paul. I had a few questions that I was unclear about, and he took care of me. By the time I shipped them I had no worries and felt confident in my decision...
