2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Crew Cab Test – Review – Car and Driver
Car and Driver's Second Drive. They hit 0-60 MPH in 5.1 seconds with a 13.8 second quarter mile time. Pretty crappy braking performance though.
I wouldn't buy any Ford product (in reference to the Platinum Explorer above) with the first gen 3.5L EcoBoost, that engine is hugely problematic if you read any of the car maintenance tracker sites like Car Complaints or True Delta. Even 2016 model F-150s and Explorers have issues. Hopefully...
I am paying $500 under MSRP which still pisses me off. But I guess I can't complain. Had to search all over the western US to get that deal.

Ordered it originally, but deleted it yesterday after watching all the recent YouTube videos. The applique is more unique and sets the truck apart from a standard F-150, but I worry about it fading over time in the hot desert sun and the "clean" look tailgate also looks great.

Seems like the 10-speed might still have issues, unless these were the non-fixed transmissions the press was driving.
The standard F-150 with Ecoboost is faster, but it always has been, especially compared to the Gen 1. Even with the extra power, I don't think the Raptor is going to launch off the line faster than a more normal truck. The 2016 EcoBoost F-150 does 0-60 in 5.8 if I recall correctly and C&D...

Not the government.
I, for one, am glad the IIHS is testing headlights now. If I recall correctly, I think good headlights are soon going to be required for vehicles to earn the Top Safety Pick Plus rating. Maybe our government will fix our outdated regulations that don't allow all the nifty kind of headlights that...
I see. I wish they were auto powerfold, like in my Genesis. Then you don't have to worry about it, it does all the work for you. Mirrors fold as soon as you lock it and unfold as you approach the vehicle.
I saw a 2-ship of these driving southbound on 95 this morning, an Oxford White leading a Lightning Blue. It was just after sunrise and they both looked great, even though they were covered in mud. Their LED running lights were incredibly bright compared to the rest of the southbound traffic.
I ordered AG and I still believe that's the right decision, especially considering its uniqueness. However, Lightning Blue and Ruby Red are both looking amazing in those videos as well. I'm surprised how much I like the Ruby Red.
So do the window stickers show regular or premium fuel? I couldn't seem to find it on there. I looked at fueleconomy.gov and they list it as regular fuel on the new Raptor.
