You can't get EPA numbers before the engine and transmission calibrations are finalized. We will either hear power and MPG info at the same time or the SAE power numbers will come out first, followed by the EPA numbers at a later date.
With the electronically controlled waste gates on the new motor, they could very well be limiting boost (and therefore peak torque) down low stay within the designed capacity of some part of the engine or drivetrain. That could account for what seems to be a low peak torque number in relation...
