I didnt get as much time in the dirt as I would have liked with the FRS 3.0s but it is definitely a pretty crazy improvement. The additional dampening the bypass up front provides is huge. This thing fly's through the whoops now and I can charge through some pretty big G outs like its nothing...

Have the truck back and have hit the dirt twice already. Will try and post some pics and impressions soon but I am LOVING it. I don't blame you... Have heard that from a lot of people. I am really glad I was able to find one without it.

Havent made any updates on here for a while Sometimes you just have to go full retard.... Truck is down at SVC for their mid travel kit front and rear.

+3 deavers are the leaf springs. They give you 1" of extra height after removing the factory block compared to the stock leaf springs. Geisers are the aftermarket front coil springs I was running before I switched.

I had geiser springs and deaver +3s on the stock shocks. This added some height and the truck took big impacts off road much better but it was pretty harsh on small chop and made the on road manners pretty bad. The factory series shocks are definitely the way to go if you can swing them $ wise...

Thanks man! Thank you! More to come Super happy with them. They are not a cheap upgrade but it really is a night and day from the Geiser springs. Man I really wish I could make it but I am waiting on tires so I am spareless right now. Keep me in mind for the next one!

I'm in way too deep on the mod rabbit hole with my truck to consider changing anytime soon... I also am still not sold on the looks of the gen 3 but am excited to start seeing some builds and what people come up with.

I guess they didnt learn their lesson from all the G2 camera issues? :nono:

As much as I love the factory series 3.0s I really want to get the truck baja ready and I like to drive hard so I opened this can of worms.... ADV glass front and rear looking like an ugly duckling for now until paint and I get some 37s on... then I'll not so patiently wait for my appointment...

What a deal! I will never forget when I was shopping for Gen 2s in CA back in 2018... A sales guy told me "look man these typically go for 30 over... I am willing to do it for 15 so I am actually SAVING you money" Hopped in my truck and did a burnout leaving the parking lot...

Yup totally normal mine has done it since day one. Especially in reverse.

I set it a tad higher than how it came out of the box cant remember the exact measurements though. Definitely dropped it a tad from where the geisers had the truck sitting to get a little droop travel back. I like soft on the street personally... Gives that nice factory ride but with a little...
