I am signed up for 9/10-11. Figured cooler then. With a co-driver (2 per R) how much time are u in backseat or are u out of the truck? Prefer to be out of truck as backseat not all that great...don't want to hurl on the co-driver. I am going either way....just setting mental...
The couple little things I have had (1 delayed start, and rear emblem loose) are far outweighed by all the nice changes since my 2020 and then there is the V8. I have no "real" complaints....more like whining.
Let us know how it goes especially tailgate piece. 3 of my 4 corners came loose during first wash. Pretty obvious that double stick tape did not hold. Think I am going to try some epoxy and heat gun to see if I can avoid trip to dealer.
I took this one off to see if anything could be adjusted or if anything was broken. Broke 3 tabs taking it off, but they are cheap especially on Amazon. When the fender comes off there is a bracket that mounts to the fender. There is no adjustment at top of fender where the gap is. I also...
So dealer confirmed that the FOB lights are gone. He said mine was an early build so FOB still had a place for the light in the shell, but it is not going to light up.
On the 1500 RPM vibration, it is there in Park or Drive. I held the brake down and hit 1500 RPM and not quite as bad in...
Two things:
1. When remote started, neither FOB gives the little green light indicating that it started. Work on yours?
2. Normal starting routine (start button or remote) is that it fires up to about 1500 RPM rpm. Fairly good vibration. After about 15-30 seconds, it lidles down to about...
Bed cleats....a set came with my 2017 and 2020, but not the 2024....unless dealer forgot to toss them in the truck. Did any of you get the cleats?
I looked at Ford.com and says you get the plates, but does not mention the cleats.
Well now I have to take things apart and see if I can close the gap since I know it is supposed to be tight....which makes sense.
And you should have found 2 blank key code cards. The dealer is supposed to get the code for you and write it on the card. If can't find, then any dealer can plug...
I found the blank cards and put the original code on it as well as the new one that I added.
That key also fits center console and glovebox. And the codes on the package with the key are unique to your vehicle and needed to cut a new key at the dealer. Might want to delete the picture. ;)
