Well that's why I was thinking about this because of the "echo" from underneath would bounce sound all over versus straight out to open air. Got a picture handy?

I was thinking about losing the tailpipe and putting the tip on the exit of the muffler to see what it sounded like.

I just might. The small intermediate pipe then was pushed backwards and off both hangers buy some mud. Trail fixed it as best as I could, got home removed and cleaned the mud out and rehung it. Made sure those bolts were in good.

X's 2 on the exhaust falling off. Out tearing up some trails and all of a sudden 5 Harleys sound like they are coming from behind.

So, remove front bolt, lower hood, remove back bolt, slide mount in, put back bolt right back in, lift hood, install front bolt?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but at what point do you remove the back bolt?
