When I saw the Bronco/Ranger Raptor numbers on the tune I was excited to see what they were doing for the f150 Raptor and was ready to buy the tune as soon as it was released. I could get rid of my pesky Ford points and get some more power. But 16 peak HP and 54lb ft tq for $825 PLUS dealer...
Took the sensors off and painted them with regular satin black spray paint. Yes, the sensors work fine painted as long as you dont go overboard and make it crazy thick. The sensors are two part, the middle sensor section and then the surround that clips into the bumper. I took them both out and...
Yup. I did it with Raptor Liner 2k in the aero cans. I did the same to my 2017 day one of ownership and after 4 years it still looked new. My 2017 I used the 2 part mix with the paint gun but I also did the wheel wells so it made more sense to use a bigger kit. The dealership undercoated my 2023...
Yeah I was afraid of that. Ill most likely end up aiming the light like I want it then mark the bracket and machine out the rear slot as far as I can so both the center channel and the rear channel can be used. Id hate for the light to move after a bunch of offroad miles because I only used the...
So here is the issue Im running into with the Baja Designs OnX6 10" light....its too chunky. I got the Baja Designs bracket to work by drilling out a bit of the lower tabs on the bumper but the light sticks too far out. So I purchased your bracket hoping it would pull the light back into the...
Thanks. I might have to go this route once the truck gets here. Im going to see if the Baja Designs bracket can be modified slightly to work. If not Ill be making a purchase through you guys. Thanks!
I ran it on my 2017 for a few years without issue. I live where it rarely gets over 85 degrees F so Im not too worried about a little less air flow. Its obviously not optimal but its really no worse than having the license plate there for those who have to run a front plate and dont relocate it.
I have a Baja Designs OnX6+ lower grille setup from my gen 2 and was wondering if anyone has installed this same kit into their Gen 3? I dont have the truck yet so I cant verify fit yet so Im doing research so if I have to order anything itll be here in the truck arrives. I know there is a...
Just got a 2023 but it doesnt arrive for a few weeks. I need to know the length of the roof (windshield to back window and then total width). Could anyone hook me up with some quick and dirty measurements? Doesnt have to be crazy precise either. Thanks!
Sold my 2017 during the Covid high so now Im looking to get back into a Raptor. I didnt pay over MSRP for my 2017 so Im trying to stick to not paying over MSRP for this new Raptor.
Wants:
Oxford White
37pp
Tailgate/Moonroof package
Spray in bedliner (not necessary can get Line-X)
37 graphics...
Let them know there is a TSB about the noise from front left about the IWE which results in changing hubs and everything out.
Here is a link to the TSB: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10149748-9999.pdf
Thats what frustrates me because it feels like the damn thing is made out of glass. My 96 Jeep that I snow wheel and have zero mechanical sympathy for has never broken any diff components or axles, just u-joints.
Id really like to get rid of it and get a newer model but I have so much extra...
The truck was ordered December 30th 2016 so it was an early build. Its sad because I havent thrashed on it where Id excpect things to start going wrong. I grew up thrashing on Jeeps and old Blazers with my dad and a lot of those situations were ones where you say "Im surprised it lasted that...
They are going to call me when they get the parts in and pull it all out. Dealer said it shouldnt be an issue being covered under warranty which is good at least. The front diff was never opened and worked on, truck only has 35k on it.
It could be chewed up from driving it 50 or so miles back...
