Sgmshipp,
Riddick was correct in stating that Shaay was speaking about your computer. I understand your frustrations of having issues with the update, which is why we're here to help. Please PM the VIN so I can take a look at the software info.

Sgmshipp,
A few people who had the issues downloading are now able to. Can you try clearing your cookies and cache? Let me know if you still receive an error.
bwep,
I'm glad to hear that the update went well for you! You can always reach out to me on the forum for assistance.

Hey everyone!
I'm glad to hear that you're having good results with this update. As always, I'll be here if any issues arise. You can post on this thread, or send a private message. Have a great weekend!
Shaay
Ok. Have you tried soft resetting your phone? If you have a removeable battery, remove it for about 10 seconds before reinserting. If not, power cycle the phone.
Shaay
You're welcome, andrenb. Try the reset and get back to me when you get the chance: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/settings/how-to-perform-a-master-reset.html

Hi andreb,
TScozz is correct. The master reset is a good first step. Which system do you have: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/setup/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html Let me know, and I'll provide the instructions.

An update isn't available at the dealer or online. The dealer is in the beeest position to assist at this point. If they're unable to find a resolution, they'll need to contact Tech Hotline for assistance. That's their next level of support.
Keep me in the loop.
Shaay
Hi 91stangy,
Currently, your system has the latest version available. An update was released, but it was removed due to issues. I suggest trying a master reset: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/sync-with-navigation/settings/how-to-perform-a-master-reset.html If that doesn't...
Thanks, CamoRaptor. I recommend trying a master reset: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/settings/how-to-perform-a-master-reset.html If this doesn't work, I suggest a dealer visit. Keep me posted.
Shaay

That's great to hear, medic701! Try recalibrating the system: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/10ngnsn2e.pdf The instructions are on page 115.
Shaay
Ok, TheJoker. The same advice goes for you as well. If you're in a good coverage area (not a garage or parking lot), you shouldn't see that symbol. A dealer visit is needed if this continues to be an issue. It's signs that the antenna or module may be weak.

Hi medic701,
The NO GPS symbol indicates that insufficient GPS-satellite signals are available for accurate map positioning. If this icon is displayed continuously, and you're not in a poor GPS-access...
What an adventure! Great to hear that it's all good now. Hopefully it remains that way. :)
As for the update, it was removed from accounts.; however, it's still obtainable at the dealer. It was removed because some vehicles with navigation had it disappear after updating.
Shaay
Oh no! I'm not a trained technician, but this sounds like a software issue more than hardware. The update isn't available online right now. Please make sure the dealer plug your VIN into their system to check for updates. Version 3.8 came out late last year. Have them contact Tech Hotline if...
