i use clay magic, clay bar, and use gold class wax-ez on ez off, no powder left on paint. use a good car wash, i'm useing some profesional stuff from car brite. or use eagle one wax as you dryafter you wash your truck. helps keeping the truck waxed after washing. but use this AFTER you lay down...

i had this put on my truck the day i picked it up, so far its saved the hood from a few chips, one did nick the clear cover, and it must have been a big one because it did chip the paint under it. without it i think i'd have a huge chip of paint missing.
