Sorry to hear this. Dealt with that dealership a few times. Didn't seem anxious to make a sale. I bought my Gen 1 from McMahon Ford in Norwalk, CT. They were honest and liked their service department from my dealings with them. Also had a good experience with Colonial in Danbury. Problem...
Track Rack. Rails can stay on (took mine off after summer each year on my Get 1). The actual rack is easy on and easy off. Not cheap but worked with my Roll X tonneau cover. Not sure it will work with your cover. I carried 4 surf boards and two 10 foot stand up paddle surf boards on mine no...
Truck looks great. I ran 2 1/4 on my Gen 2 to level. New one is 1.5 but think when all the new rear suspension and spring options happen that I may go 2.25. Truck looks really good-congrats.
so funny how this has all evolved yet isn't that different. On the Gen 1s, it was a matter of moving a piece of wire that looked like my retainer from 1984 up into a different notch on the Fox Shock. There were three. When we made an adjustment it was called to Mid Perch.
Going to see a big drop in onroad performance and mpg. You may have rubbing given the different width and slightly larger tire that can be solved with trimming and collars. If you are replacing the wheels and tires why are you going with the 37 package?
Love it. Just like mine save the Wild Peaks. How do you like them? Been thinking about trying them for a while now as a BFG replacement-especially if they are good in the rain and snow.
I like the back window visibility you retain with the roll up...Especially important if you ever have mountain bikes mounted on the back and lose the rear parking camera and park assist.
Tradeoffs with both shocks. 35 does have 1 inch more travel. 37 has preload which reduces travel but is slightly beefier. I dont think one is better than the other-just different tradeoffs. Both Gen 3 options are great. 37 is super turn key if that is what you want. 35 is great as well...
i know my dealer so am not worried. the only differences on these trucks is 1/8th inch diameter of the shock-otherwise the trucks are identical-35 package gives you more travel actually. Given the nature of that part and its usable life before having to rebuilt or replaced, it is not a...
I have had 4 off the ground and don't have any issues. I will say that it looks to my eye like zero offset seems more "under" the fender than my stock BFGs on zero offset looked on my Gen 1 and 2. Don't trust my experience if you are running true 37s or anything that is 13.5 wide.
Enjoy the ride!
