I havent put one on a raptor but i have put one on a Lightning and seen between 20 to 30 degree temp drop. Its worth it!!!

I wouldnt wait to long. Keep the damage and the problem to a minimum.

I would check and see if the fluid is still red and give the fluid a smell. If the fluid has a burnt smell or the color has changed and is no longer the normal red color then I would change it. Does the trans. still operate like it should with no hard shifts or anything like that?
