Coming from the world of solid front axles has left me behind on the knowledge of upper control arms and their benefits when upgraded. If you do not upgrade to 3.0 shocks is there a benefit (besides added strength) to upgrading your UCA's? Does anyone make aftermarket UCA that works with stock...
Center to bottom of flare at ride height = 26 3/8"
Center to bottom of flare unloaded = 29 3/8"
Essentially I have 3" sag right now on mid perch. Will be interesting to see if they settle more as they get broken in.
Was able to get out and do a short desert test by my house today. The trails are slower and can be very rough, only one higher speed section. With the springs on mid they felt about the same as my stock on mid did except for a little more controlled. I always thought stock on mid was on the...
Dang that's way up! My 14 Screw didn't turn out like that! Mine is still slightly lower in the front compared to rear with it on mid perch. I have +3 deavers in rear though.
I need to do something with my exhaust as it is rubbing my deavers, currently stock exhaust. I hate drone and don't want anything overly loud as I do long trips towing a trailer. Looking for opinions on best route that will clear the spare and the leafs. I have seen dirty deeds exhaust but feel...
If I remember correctly lower shock bolt/nut was 27mm and 30mm
Must haves would be a very good impact or large breaker bar fr lower shock.
A hammer to tap top side of spindle to break loose from UCA.
Also, have the torque specs handy for re assembly. They can be found on sdhq website under...
It is sitting slightly taller than stock was on mid perch. Only drove around town today I would say it seems a little stiffer but less harsh over bumps. Stock on mid perch seemed really bad on speed bumps and stuff. I will hopefully get to desert test it in the next week. As far as alignment...
I was already at mid perch and left it on mid. I don't have a good opinion on ride change yet as I have driven it to alignment shop and that's it. But the drive did seem nice and appeared to be a little less harsh then mid with stock spring. More to come once I really get to try it out
I installed mine tonight. I left the perch at mid perch. Haven't done the test drive. Really not a bad install. As far as time it was similar to what was stated above, about 3 1/2 -4 hrs the majority spent on the first one. If you do mid perch make sure you don't set the coil compressors to...
I forgot one of my favorite things about this kit. If using air tools, it takes about 5 minutes to adjust the bump height. Don't have to remove tires or anything. Probably a 15 minute job to move them with just hand tools. That has been a big bonus for me.
I have had my svc bump stop kit installed for 2 1/2 months now, so I thought I would give a review. Since I use my truck as daily driver, off road vehicle, and travel trailer tow rig.
First off, the svc crew is great to deal with and communication. I ordered at a time when they were behind...
Has anyone done the install themselves yet? I have been really busy so I got an estimate for install and it was more than I would have guessed. How long/hard is the swap? I've done a lot of suspension on jeeps but have not played with these coil overs yet, but to save $500+ there may be no...
I missed all the action on here, guess I need to check in more frequently. Thanks Qcfx2 for the text so I could get it paid. Can't wait for the springs, I think I will still go mid perch!

I am another one who tows but needs to move to an exhaust like yours. Don't want to end up loud. Do you have options close to stock in the cab? I wouldn't mind a little more bark but don't want to have try to drown out exhaust noise on long hauls.
Research it based on your needs. After I looked and read about them all I chose svc because of how it adjusts since I will use the bumps to help with towing.
Thanks for the input. I believe I will be going with the +3 deavers. I don't tow a lot, mostly just a daily driver. But when I can get out I tow the trailer somewhere I can go play with the truck. I think that set up with the adjustable bumps will fit my needs. I can always increase pressure in...
