Yep both companies are great. I’ve had my Whipple kit on my truck now for a year and a half so there’s really no need for me to switch to COBB, but I’m excited for all the guys here that are getting their kits from them cause they look like they offer some great products. And about the 93 octane...
Yeah this actually isn't true, Shelby doesn't touch the turbo's. Its a tune that makes that, he has no idea what he's talking about. It says nothing about touching the turbos on Shelby's site.
You don't even own a Raptor so you aren't allowed to talk.
If I were you I would start doing your own oil changes and checking the oil every 1000 kms/miles so see when it starts to consume oil. Also wouldn't hurt to get a catch can either and see how much blow by you have. I don't trust...
He's a troll, I bet he doesn't even own a Gen 2. Probably hasn't even owned a Raptor. He actually sounds a lot like some of the other trolls we have on this forum
I doubt the Raptor being problematic was the issue. It’s probably because they tune cars, not trucks. This is new for them. The more time they take the better in my opinion.
I got mine aligned when I got my new tires. After my buddy and I installed the Giesers I didn’t get it aligned for probably 6 months after. Didn’t have to get longer brake lines either. Installing them isn’t the easiest because the springs are a lot longer than the stocks so if you’re doing it...
I'm going to see how my Nitto Ridge Grapplers do this winter and if they aren't that good I think I'm gonna throw Toyo Open Country C/T's on my spare set of Ford bead lock rims I have sitting in my garage and run those in the winter
Yeah and I do have the Whipple Kit so that could be why I haven't really noticed anything. But I was expecting to see a decrease in gas mileage but it hasn't change which surprised me
Damn. Sorry to hear that man. I'm glad they're figuring it all out for you tho at least. I'm sure your 19 will be problem free and you'll enjoy the shit out of it
The first Gen went from 2010 - 2014. I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same for the Gen 2 and leave it for a couple years again before announcing the Gen 3. By then dodge will have the TRX out and I'm sure Ford will have an answer to it with their Gen 3 Raptor. Like others said I cant see...
Give the springs a bit more to settle out and then see how they feel. Like some others said taking them off road will also help break them in a bit. That's what I did and mine have been on for a year now and feel great.
How long have you had the Giesers on for now? Mine took a bit to settle but once they did they ride great. Of course if you have the spare cash then the Fox Factory Series are the way to go, but the Geisers were a great upgrade for the time being for me anyway. Next will be the Fox Factory's
Yeah I was kinda of disappointed when he told me they said that. The Factory series will still be an upgrade compared to the new Live Valves they made it sound like as well. Again, its all still speculation at this point. It will be interesting to see what comes of it when guys start getting...
My buddy who just got back from SEMA said that he talked to Fox and they said because of the height sensors in the new Live Valve shocks that they are not upgradable and we won't be able to use the gieser springs and Deavers :S So take it with a grain of salt obviously, but thats what the reps...
There’s probably 50+ members on here with the Whipple kit installed on their trucks for well over a year (myself included) and have nothing but great things to say about it. It’s a great kit and I think they did a really nice job with the tune. I’ve had it on my truck for over 10k now and it’s...
