MSRP seems to be market rate, at the moment. As production, allocations, and retail orderes go up over time, prices will likely soften but who knows by how much. I'd imagine if you wait a year or two, we'll be in the ball park of the Gen1 invoice deals. There are guys claiming 'near invoice'...

That list will be a great tool in 6-12 months time (maybe earlier?), I bet. For now, you pay the premium to get one sooner. It's pretty much that simple unless you are the select few who have the "in" with specific dealers.

I don't doubt it but haven't seen an Avalanche Raptor that seemed close to any of the Avalanche GT's that I've seen on the web. Would be awesome to see them side by side at some point. Would be a cool shot.

I thought Gen2 had a 3" lift which was higher than Gen1? don't know about narrower but I think it might be the same width. The 10speed + 500lb weight loss, will certainly help.
