Another update....
23-Feb - Production week date changed to 3/15
6-Mar - Production week date changed to 3/17
8-Mar - Status changed to In Production
9-Mar - Window sticker issued; blend date 3/17
Also, the window sticker is showing the heated wheel and advanced security pack delete, so...
An update on this for those that are interested. After receiving my VIN on 17-Jan, I checked the order status site and the order had been scheduled to the week of 13-Feb. On 6-Feb, the scheduled to week status disappeared. On 17-Feb, it updated again and is now scheduled for the week of 14-Mar...
I finally received a VIN yesterday. The window sticker is not yet available. My dealer says it's scheduled for the first week of March, however I have not received an update from Ford. Ordered 8/8.
I have a 2011 6.2 with the Whipple and usually see an average of about 12 or so with mixed driving. On the highway, anything above 13.5 is rare. I would expect the R to be in the same ballpark; maybe a little better.
Could be, but it's also specified as having auto start/stop in the official order guide. I included a snip in my message from the other day. Hopefully it's a typo.
I'm not sure if it's going to be available or not, but looking at the order guide, it is not an option on the 5.2, though it is an option on the 3.5 and 5.0. I specified delete with my "order", so we'll see what happens. Snips from the order guide below.
5.2 shown with auto start/stop...
I've still got my Gen 1 SCAB which is in great condition, 60k miles, and has the Whipple. You think it makes sense to sell or trade it? Honestly I'm thinking of keeping it although I don't really have room for two of these beasts.
I have a 2011 supercab which fits nicely inside my garage, however now with no supercab option now available, I'm wondering if anyone has been parking their supercrew in a standard sized 20' garage. The spec sheet for the 2021 shows an overall length of 232.6" or 19.4', so in theory it should...
Anyone know what this line is for and where it’s supposed to terminate? It looks like either a vacuum or vent line but I can’t locate where it came from. No lights or warnings have shown up so far.
I think 511hp is achievable. The Livernois Stage 3 kit with a 93 octane tune, exhaust, and intake makes 386hp at the rear wheels, and if you assume 25% losses in the drive train, that's 514hp at the crank.
I managed a $62K loan (lot of aftermarket stuff included) at 3.02% for 60 months with no money down through BofA. They also offered 3.86% for 72 months. Long story short - there are some good financing deals out there right now.
Whipple and SVT have confirmed they'll be releasing a kit in about 90 days. If you guys had the choice, would you still go with the Procharger or wait for the Whipple/SVT kit?
My truck should arrive at the dealer within a couple of weeks and I'm all set up for the Procharger install, but now...
Very interested to hear about the Procharger, especially any difficulties getting it tuned in both normal and off-road modes (if that's what you do). I also ordered the Procharger kit and will have my dealer do the install. I'm a little concerned because it'll be my daily driver and I know...
I should have been more clear... the dealer is installing the blower and by doing this I'm able to maintain the factory warranty on the truck (powertrain & drivetrain) through Ford.
The blower itself only has the Procharger standard warranty.
