I assumed he was talking about a mod to fill-in these holes in the running boards. I don’t recall seeing such a post. I haven’t noticed a lot of spray or mud coming up through those holes... not enough for a mod, anyway.

That's exactly what I had to do. In my picture, you'll notice the left clamp is much further back than the right side clamp. Sorry... should have mentioned that.
