Just wanted to make an update:
I have just over 1k miles on mine, the ride seems to of improved quite a bit. Not sure if something needed to be broken in or what, but honestly it seems to ride quite a bit better. No more jolts, I still feel bumps here and there but not nearly as bad. The truck...
This is just my opinion, but logically one of two things happen.
1. No 2021 raptor, the prized raptors gain “value” and desire for a Raptor increases so when the next Raptor comes out dealerships make a killing on markups and resale values of used Raptors.
2. Ford makes a 2021 raptor that is...
More pics to see how it looks. Im impressed for the price. Can buy two of these for the price of one of the other.
and yes, my Raptor is a snug fit in the garage LMAO.
I had a platinum a few years back with the Rough Country Tonneau cover. I was very happy with it but i can be a cheap ass and will save money where I can. Thus brings me to my point.
i bought this Lyon bed cover for my Raptor, which in my opinion is a direct knock off from the Rough Country...
I am looking to have a decal made, what do y'all think of this? Its Photoshop. Smaller, bigger, put an edge on the right side of the stars? Something else all together?
Someone with a little skill should be able to lay fresh glass and sand it to match. The. All that is needed is a little feather/blending of the paint. It really shouldn't be that bad. Find the right shop it will stay off carfax and not hurt your value!
My truck does great over bumps and crappy roads. Its the perfectly straight ones that it sucks on. At times it feels like im driving over a microscopic washboard and other times it amplifies the tiniest of bumps. The big ones it goes over like cake.
wonder how I would do the electric reset on...
Fair enough, I will ride in the same boat haha! Still nothing else like it on the road. I am taking a trip to SPI in the next few weeks, hope to find parts of the north island I can let this thing rip on.
So I came across SSM 47757 on the inter webs today, It says it applies to 2019my but this description is what I am experiencing. My truck rides like an unloaded 3/4ton and I hate to sound like I am complaining. I just cant imagine this is how a Raptor is supposed to ride like. I may have to go...
did you ever figure anything out about this? I just bought a 2020 screw and have the same complaint. nothing I do seems to make a difference, dang thing rides like an unloaded 3/4ton.
Interesting, for the record I set my cold temps to 32frt and 30-31rear. Before I drove about 150 miles today. I had no Idea about the separate steering wheel setting toggle. I will play with that and I will also try sport mode to see what happens.
Ive been wondering the same thing. I just hit the mode button on the steering wheel till it says normal. I mean by default it starts at normal right?
is there a place to adjust steering wheel, shocks, throttle separately? Additionally, when at highway speeds the steering wheel is quite stiff, i...
I am running Normal, do the modes adjust default stiffness/softness or just tell the system to get ready for what is coming?
Yeah california hop that sounds like what I am talking about, ive put many miles on many vehicles and never experienced it like I do in this Raptor. Dont get me wrong, I...
Thanks, are those cold temps or after tires are warm? Mine currently are about 36 all around but after warmup they get to 38 and if its real hot 39-40.
Hey everyone,
I recently picked up a 2020 801a, it has about 500 miles on it now. When the truck was delivered it had way too much air in the tires so I dropped them down to 38 all around.
so to the point, overall the ride is comfy but not “smooth” like ive heard folks refer to raptors ride...
Yeah funny story actually, my Fiance totaled her hybrid, so I gave her my z71 tahoe to drive. Sold my toy (Roush 360r) which brought me in the market for the Raptor!
Doing sign on delivery should arrive tomorrow.
