If you look on the top level of the forum there is a military, fire, law enforcement thread that shows how. I don't really remember but it was easy to do.
Well, I didn't get any amount of money off so I can't be happy about that. If it shows up with an SVT note I won't bitch anymore but I doubt that is going to happen. Beemerman, that is one way to get the truck faster. At least they didn't try to drive it over the Atlantic! Haha.
Hmm, ok well at least I'm not the only one. Thanks, Chris. I did check my order and I do have the Ziebart going on the truck. Is that the thin black undercoating you were talking about?
Yeah, the problem is I wasn't there to do the actual turn in. So the dude who turned it over to them probably didn't care as long as it didn't get damaged. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it I guess.
Yeah, it did have to be brought to the port to be inspected by the military and be put on a ship. Hence why I would even understand 25-30 miles. I can't seem to wrap my head around the need to drive my truck 47 miles...
I think I could justify anything up to about 25-30 miles for testing and transporting but 47 is still pissing me off and as I said I don't even have the truck yet.
Ok, glad I'm not being unreasonable. It just seems like someone between the factory and me said "Oh, a Raptor. Let me take this thing for a spin I've always wanted to drive one." Buy your own, dammit!
Yesterday afternoon I received an awesome bit of mail. In the letter was the Bill of Sale, Title, and Inspection sheet from the port. Now to my question:
I was reviewing the inspection sheet and it shows the truck having 47 miles. I think that is an awfully high number considering it was...
Did you guys put together a better set of instructions with pictures for the headers install? I know you said it was in the works but I was just curious. I've seen the video of the military install and read the PDF but more than one picture with arrows and layout would be appreciated. I have the...
Oh, you think a Chevy is your ally. You merely adopted the Raptor; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see a Chevy until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but a P.O.S.!
Sorry, my lame attempt at a joke. I love the Cameros. Good buy on the SCREW!
