That's the mini. You need the micro. And by need, I mean you can just cut that and crimp on a micro like most of us have done (vs waiting for the vendor to send you one)
Here's the micro for comparison
Don't mean to hijack here, but this looked like a good place to ask! Any shop recommendations in Austin (or not too far away), fellas? My brother moved out there not long ago and I'm trying to help him out with a reputable shop for the mods he has in mind. I trust recommendations from this forum...
You're the man, Adam -it worked in that slot! It is a little quirky like you mentioned with the amber staying on for a minute or so after the truck is off, but I have no problem with that!
Thanks, Adam! I'm surprised you can make a strong enough connection there without that other 25A getting in the way. I'm going to mess around with it later today and see if I have any luck.
Thanks! Did the exact same thing - textbook. No Bugatti is livable, but no DRL at all on auto kinda sucks. I guess I'll just keep playing around with fuse locations or something.
OK, same thing I did. Well there goes that theory. Hell we even connected the wires directly and covered in electrical tape to remove the crimp from the equation. Oh well, Bugatti would be cool but I'm just happy I don't have anything really off or hyperflash. Now I just need to adjust the...
Appreciate your help troubleshooting.
Question...
Did you receive the incorrect, mini fuse tap initially and then crimp on the proper fitting micro tap? Or did you receive the correct one from the get go?
Yessir. Removed all of the halogen resistor packs and even attached the yellow shrink one that shipped separately. After connecting everything I only had two plugs left and only the blue one mated up with the DRL harness. Maybe a faulty connection with the micro fuse tap but I highly doubt it.
Install was relatively smooth but can't get the Bugatti sequence to work for the life of me. Tried a couple different fuse locations and no dice. Overall I love the look.
Scare the crap out of you?
I posted about the same problem months ago but was told to lift heavier weights. I'm since done so, but no luck with the seat staying latched. I'll eventually bring it to the dealer. And mine will feel locked if I pull down gently, but if I come to an abrupt stop -...
Received shipping notification yesterday - appreciate the quick turnaround 4x4!!
Question for those of you who installed the lights...
Did you find the angle/setting that you're happy with? From what I read here, there's something like 10 points of adjustment, so I'm hoping there's a consensus...
Morimoto low looks great! BD pods will take care of anything else. I want the lights as one more way to try and differentiate my truck. Raptors are like Honda Civic's out here. So, sorry 1BAD when I get mine, but I think you live in the Old Pueblo anyway!
Had to rig mine due to the FMIC (mounted to the side of it). Wouldn't have been an issue with stock intercooler. Had to disable collision detection (became too sensitive) but other than that it works just fine.
I've had a great experience with Goosetuned now twice. Once for my first tune and then an update after installing the Cobb FMIC and intake. Both times, we ran at least 4 data logs to get it right. Also, with the Cobb unit you can shut off auto stop/start and dynamic pedal control is pretty rad...
Yea, but you should have tons of energy from barely breaking a sweat on an ebike.
Just giving you a hard time, I will own one eventually. I said at 50, but I don't think I can wait 10 years. Seem like a blast.
Nope, no special fork requirement! The fork you see is just a double crown downhill bike, the rest are regular trail/enduro rigs. Nothing is holding the rear wheel in place. Many have straps for the down tube to keep movement minimal, but overall the cushioned material of the pad and the weight...
Agreed.
I was hell-bent on getting a rack for the Raptor (was all concerned about scratching my tailgate) but the price-to-carrying-capacity of a rack is ridiculous. Went with the new Fox pad and would do it again in a second. Tailgate is just fine as are the fork stanchions.
