ford esp warranty only that's what my dealership says if you dont want to get screwed over when you take it in for warranty work after 3/36. Not that ford wont but chances are not as high. Flood ford seems to be over whelmingly the cheapest price for a Ford warranty.
pretty solid so far on day 1. I'm 30 miles from major city and its just like factory. Got no complaints and looks better. Its actually 6 3/4 inch not sure if that makes any difference but its supposed to be premium version.
I just hit 4500 miles on factory oil says 48% life left. I just got Fumoto oil change valve to I will be changing mine either this weekend or the next. going with mobile 1 and ford filter.
I run 33psi in all 4 tires, look at the sticker on side of door for correct psi. the transmission tries to get up to a higher gear to fast in my opinion. I combat that by using paddle shifters and not letting it shift into a higher gear than I want and makes it more fun to drive and you can...
if you no longer tow on a regular basis or care about a real payload. I had 2 f250s, I sold everything I towed with except my boat which is at the marina. By far the absolute funest truck I have ever drove. and yes no longer have to worry about 2 batteries and 2 fuel filters or DEF.
I like it, assuming you dont want a 19 and it hasn't been wrecked. I would tell them you wanted one with sun roof and tailgate step to try and get price down more. I think 57k would be my highest especially since its technically a 1 year old truck.
got my truck back, dealer said update didnt take on my transmission so they had it updated, now good to go. It does shift smoother now so I can't complain. I'm guessing that means it got reflashed or updated tcm/pcm like others said.
2018 June build with 5k miles. mine is at dealership right now. had them fix seatbelt recall and look at my transmission. Mine has rough shifts and has slammed into gear a couple times. They called me an hour and a half ago asking if I had a tune on the truck which I dont. I will keep you posted...
anyone run just vynal roll up cover like a truxedo cover or something similar or are those all crap? Ive had trucks since 1998 but never put a bed cover on any of them.
appreciate it, mine is the standard, they had premium for $100 more but might be getting a cover so decided not to do it. Texas prices just outside dallas, however I did ask about the fender wells and they said it about $150 each side so I passed.
I was in same boat as you when I started, wasn't much info on wiring the A post lights for beginners. I watched youtube videos and had to read threw crap tons of comments and ask lots of questions just to get to the point of the actual wiring.
not a prob. I'm no expert but from what I have read/ researched/been told, u do not need the fuse in the line. you should be just fine i just left mine in there for now but will prob change it out to no fuse when I clean up all the wiring after I get fog lights and wire everything else up.
I did the XL sports not sure if same harness but I just used the Y to connect lights and cut toggle switch side off, used side with the fuse in the line to plug into lights, then took black to ground and red to which ever u AUX u want. pic of harness the xl sports come with
that's it, got mine from nick@apollo-optics as well. great to work with, shipped out fast, answers any questions u might have. lights come with instructions as well
yeah 2 bolts to get mount on but have to use a torx 40 I believe for bolts. use same factory bolts for mounting brackets 1 for each light. you will have to unbolt driver side tail lite, pull off and plug new lights into the wiring there.
