Well I think I may have to bite the bullet and take her to the dealership. I've triple-checked the tires, no rocks or nails. Crawled under the truck with the wheels turned at various degrees and no visible rubbing. CV boots are in perfect shape, no visible damage and no grease. I am running...
I’d love to hear some more feedback and/or dyno sheets if you have them. The Gearhead turbo setup is something I’ve been looking at doing down the road a bit. Are you running them on the stock engine block?
I need some help identifying a clicking noise coming from my truck. The sound is a soft, rhythmic clicking or ticking that only happens when I am turning left, and is coming from the passenger side of the truck. It's very faint, I can only hear it when I have the windows down and am driving by...
The BoostMAX is a dial that allows you to adjust the boost level of the engine from 0 to 5psi over stock boost. The PedalMAX is a dial that allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the throttle response. They are very easy to install, they just plug in to stock wiring harnesses.
I thought I was crazy until I saw your post Badger. I just flashed my truck to Cobb Stage 1 this weekend, and I swear the exhaust sounds a little louder and more aggressive. I can’t quite put my finger on what’s changed, but the sound quality is a little different. Maybe there’s something to it.
Selling my JMS BoostMAX and JMS PedalMAX setup. I really enjoyed this setup, the combination of the two made a big difference in the way the truck drives. In the end I decided to go another direction and picked up a Cobb AP.
Asking $350 shipped in the continental US. Brand new this combo goes...
Did you notice any change in sound when you installed the SPD turbo adapters with the stock exhaust? That’s the route I’m going so I’m curious what the result will be.

Just an FYI to those thinking about masking off the front tow hooks and painting - just remove them, it is VERY easy!
I decided to fully remove my front bumper today to then remove the tow hooks, and was pleasantly surprised that I only had to remove the skid plate. Once you remove the skid...
My 2017 backfires occasionally after filling up, but only in Sport mode. I’m running a JMS Boost Max, Pedal Max, Roush intake, AMS boost tubes, and Stage 3 BOV VTA plug.
The AMS tubes made a slight difference on the butt dyno (maybe placebo?), power seems to come on a bit quicker and feels like the turbos spool up quicker and a little more turbo whistle. I got in on the group buy that was going on last month and picked them up for a hair over $300 and feel they...
I had the Corsa Sport muffler on my truck and ended up removing it after about a month due to not liking the sound due to normal acceleration. Cold start was noticeably louder than stock which is fine, and Corsa doesn’t lie about their systems having zero drone on the highway, which was great...
Thing is hideous. I am very excited about the prospect of an electric truck as a future vehicle and have been looking forward to this reveal. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in what Tesla showed last night, I'd never consider purchasing that.
You weren't kidding about a tight fit! The install was pretty easy, just a matter of working with the space available, which isn't much. The hardest part for me was getting the stock passenger-side tube released from the mounting grommet. I had to hit it with a quick spray of WD-40 to lube it...
You should be upset with yourself, not with Mountune. If their website explicitly states their return policy and you didn’t do the required research before purchasing, this is on you. We all make mistakes - learn from this one and move on. In my opinion this thread is unfair to Mountune and you...
I'm interesting in feedback on these as well. I know the benefits of turbo adapters are highly debated, but the AMS group buy pricing is almost too good to pass up, and they offer a larger diameter than the SPD version.
I prefer stock for a couple of reasons. First, Ford spent a lot of time and money engineering the Raptor suspension to a certain specification, and I don’t see any reason to mess with that. Second, for practicality’s sake. The Raptor barely fits in most parking garages as it is, I don’t want to...
