I measured my 2017 on level ground and found that my stock rake front to rear is only 1 3/8", which seems to be a little less than a typical 2017-2018 truck. I'm at 39 7/8" Front and 41 1/4" Rear. I actually prefer to have a slight bit of rake rather than be perfectly level or nose-high, so I am...
These look really great, I'd also like to see a couple of shots of your truck from a little further back so we can see how they fit in with the entire rear end.
You’re exactly right. So much of sound is subjective, but decibels are one thing you can actually measure. I’m gun shy about trying another muffler after the Corsa Sport. While it had a great sound at WOT and no drone at highway speeds, it had a fair amount of resonance in stop and go driving...
I like this guy's channel, Keep It Dirty Offroad. Great content from what I've seen, surprised he doesn't have more subscribers.
Love the looks of the AlphaRex headlights. The animated startup sequence and turn signal are very cool. Seems like they frequently offer 10-15% off as well.
How’s the cold start volume? Is it much louder than stock? I don’t want to be “that guy” in the neighborhood, the one that everyone on the street knows every time he’s leaving his house haha.
Did you by chance take measurements before you installed your RPG collars? My truck is also a 2017 with a Bakflip tonneau, and 34k miles. My current stock height is 39.75” front, 41.25” rear. I was looking at the 1.5” collars to level the truck but don’t want to end up looking nose-high.
Thank you for posting the clips, I think it sounds great and is likely my top choice. I'm interested in a follow-up after you get some miles on it and break it in a bit too. If it stays basically "OEM+" for you, I'll probably give it a shot as well.
I finally got my CVF intercooler installed last weekend and am very pleased with the results. I didn’t do any before / after data logging, but always run my Cobb AP with the gauges up and monitor Intake air temp, which has been significantly lower than it was stock even after back to back pulls...
Make sure you search for some photos of your desired setup before committing to anything. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Eibach springs, but know that they will raise the front end a different amount depending on the year of the truck. 2017-2018 trucks end up looking nose-high...
Glad you like it, I personally don’t care for the AWE sound. Too loud and too much rasp for me - I think we have a different definition of the word “mild” [emoji16].
Really just looking for feedback on the MagnaFlow D-Fit setup, I’ve listened to everything else out there.
After I tried the Corsa Sport muffler replacement on my truck and ended up not loving it I swore I was going to keep the stock exhaust. Well apparently, like most of us mod addicts here, I can't leave well enough alone.
I've been looking at the other MILD direct-fit muffler replacements, which...
I really like the looks of the SR-L reverse light kit. Is there a way to wire them so that the red radiance halo is always on with the taillights and the main light comes on with the reverse lights automatically? I would prefer to wire a reverse light kit that way rather than wire them to an...
Curious about your experience with the downpipes - were they your only exhaust modification? How much did they affect the volume and tone of the stock setup? Been looking at them for a while.
Has anyone heard the Magnaflow direct fit muffler? I’ve been looking at the Flowmaster FlowFX and just saw the Magnaflow option. Anyone know how they compare to stock and/or to the Corsa Sport?
I just got my truck back from the dealership and wanted to update for posterity's sake; I hate when I'm searching for the solution to a problem and find a thread that is never updated with the answer.
In my case, apparently the clicking sound was the IWE assembly going bad. The dealership...
What’s the maximum boost in your typical Stage 2 tune? Cobb’s OTS Stage 2 map notes say theirs reaches 23psi +\- 3psi, tapering to 16psi at redline. How does your tune compare?
I like the looks of those Rigid SR-L reverse lights, first time I've seen them. Do you know if the SPP wire harness is for the upfitter switches or if it ties in to the taillight reverse lights?
The same bug bit me... I have 602’s on my truck and painted my front tow hooks red a couple months back. FYI, Power Stop sells front and rear calipers that are powder coated red. I believe they’re around $500 for the complete set. If I go the red caliper route, I’ll definitely go with those to...
