How do you like the ride at the 40% setting? I was able to find some feedback from regular F150 owners on other forums, but doesn’t seem like too many Raptors are running the RAS. I’ve been eyeballing it as a cheaper alternative to the Deaver/Icon route to get a little extra height in the rear.
You may have seen my previous comment about painting my tow hooks. Like Nick explained, it's VERY easy to remove the tow hooks, just a few bolts for the front skid plate and 2 bolts for each tow hook.
I was actually looking at the DeBerti tow hooks in black for my truck. I'd appreciate if you...
Badger, have you taken measurements of your stock front and rear fender heights yet? Reason I ask is that you may be surprised by how much or little rake you have. Like you, I really dislike the nose-high look but wanted to level my front end. I would prefer to do new springs, but with Eibach...
No worries! For what it's worth I did love the WOT sound on the Corsa, and there was zero rasp or drone at cruising speed. My issue with it was in traffic, which I unfortunately sit in quite a bit. I had a fair amount of resonance in the cab when doing the stop-and-go creep from about 5 mph to...
I had the same thought as you, why not just remove the pipe? So I did. I'm using a vinyl end cap and hose clamp to plug the hole on the inlet tube and haven't had any issues at all. Truck runs great, no check engine lights. Links to what I'm using are below...
Yes, a stock location upgrade is fine for running a Cobb stage 2 tune. I’m running a CV Fabrication unit on my truck and highly recommend it. At first I was on the OTS Cobb Stage 2 tune, but have since gone with a custom GooseTuned Stage 2 setup and as cliche as it sounds, this is a totally...
I noticed that COBB now offers turbo blankets for our trucks. Does anyone have any experience with these? Only one review on COBB's site, which indicates that they are a PITA to install. I can't imagine they make a big difference besides keeping under-hood temperatures somewhat lower, but let's...
I can see RAM putting out two versions of the TRX - one that’ll be priced similarly to the Raptor with the 6.4L V8 that makes 475 HP in the Durango SRT (which starts at $64k) and then the Hellcat-powered version. If you look at pricing for the Trackhawk, the 2020s start at $89k, so I think...
The Flowmaster FlowFX is my runner-up at this point for all the reasons you mentioned. It seems like another good mellow option, nice tone to it and not too much louder than stock. Great price as well. It's hard to tell from sound clips but to my ear it sounds like the MagnaFlow is a little more...
