I think the Pirellis look great, appreciate the wet handling feedback.

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

The Ridge Grappler is a nice tire no doubt, I had a set on my last truck. However, they are also nearly 71 lbs. each., woof.

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

Great feedback, thanks. How is the tread wear and road noise with 45k on the Coopers? Have they become considerably louder? How many more miles do you think you’ll get out of them?

FS: Gen 2: MagnaFlow D-Fit Muffler (Part #19465)

Due to my exhaust ADD, I've decided to go back to stock for a while, so I am selling my MagnaFlow D-Fit Muffler (MagnaFlow Part #19465). The muffler has about 5,000 miles and is in great shape, comes with all clamps as it did from MagnaFlow. I will be taking it off the truck tomorrow and will...

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

Damn! I thought 40k-ish was pretty average, I know a few people on here have posted about getting over 50k on the KO2. You do know the throttle isn’t an on/off switch and you can ease into it instead of just lighting up the tires, right? Haha!

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

Thanks, I appreciate the direct comparison. I didn’t mind my KO2s until about 30k, then I kind of knew I’d be going a different direction eventually. Road noise, overall lifespan, and wet traction are my biggest complaints. Crazy story on the gunshot damage! It’s a good thing no one was hurt...

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

Those look great. I remembered seeing you post about the Coopers in another thread, was hoping you’d chime in. How do they compare to the BFG’s regarding sound, on road feel, etc.? Which CF flares are those btw, they look fantastic.

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

A Pirelli all-season was standard on my wife’s Volvo XC90 and we’ve had great luck with them, so I’m definitely considering the AT Plus. Given the choice, would you prefer the Pirellis over the BFG’s on your Raptor?

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

This is a good point. Honestly, I feel like passenger tires would look pretty goofy on the Raptor. I want to maintain the A/T look.

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

At nearly 41,000 miles my OEM BFG KO2s are nearly toast. Based on remaining tread they’ll make it to about 45,000 miles before needing replacement, but they are so loud at this point I can’t wait to get rid of them and am considering trying a different tire. I’ll be keeping the stock size of...

    Those that ceramic coated ...

Echoing the other DIYers in this thread - if you have 8 hours on a weekend to burn I’d recommend doing it yourself. I spent about $125 on the Adam’s Graphene Ceramic kit and applied it myself in my garage. It’s very easy to apply, especially if you get the UV light with the kit so you can check...

Carbon fiber parts from Covid boredom

I know multiple people have already posted about it, but I can vouch for the quality of the product I received from Snag on the first run of hood and fender vents. I went with gloss CF and all three pieces are gorgeous and were easy to install. No flaws on the finish on any of the pieces, and...

    Shock Replacement Options

This is exactly what concerns me about the rebuild / exchange programs. Do you mind telling which company you used for the shock swap? The main reason I'm considering buying brand new like you're describing is that I don't want to get a set of shocks that's been beat to hell and back that are...

    Shock Replacement Options

Fox recommends a rebuild at 50k even if you are driving 100% on road. I’m not against rebuilding since it’s the most economical option, but the stories of leaking rebuilt shocks definitely make me a little leery. I really can’t tell if the ride has changed much to be honest, it’s one of those...

    Shock Replacement Options

I am a long term planner, and as my 2017 is about to hit 40,000 miles I am already thinking about what I’m going to do with my shocks at the big 50k rebuild/replace milestone. My truck is strictly a pavement princess, so no need for me to upgrade past the capabilities of the OEM shocks. That...

    Closing in on 100k miles

Is this fix easy enough to do at home? My 2017 has the wastegate rattle, but for $13 in parts I’d rather perform the fix myself than take the truck to the dealer.
