I fixed my third brake light a few months ago after having the Hill Control and Advance trac issue, so it's now sealed...
The day I blew the fuses, I was driving with the bed open under hard rain (my Bakflip cover was open because I was hauling my dirtbike), maybe some water has infiltrated...
Little update...After blowing the fuse a second time, now it seems to be working well...
It happened during two days of heavy rain, maybe some water infiltrated somewhere...Nobody ever had that issue ?
Edit : It was a blown fuse (fuse #34 on passenger side under glove box)...Replaced it and it was working so I thought it was OK, but the fuse is blown again...What could be causing that ? Sensor et camera were working well before the fuse went off...
Hi guys,
Another week, another issue (Yes my Raptor is a bit tricky these days...), today I've had two issues at the same time when putting the truck in Reverse :
- Rear Camera does not activate, instead of the image I have a message saying "Rear Camera not available, contact your...
For you guys who say you'r driving in 2WD in snow, it seems crazy to me...We had big snowfalls these last weeks here so I've been testing my Raptor in the snow a lot of time, when I say "testing" I mean between 10" and 25" of fresh snow on various roads/trails, going heavy on the gas pedal to...
Feel like you lol !!
2WD with Sport mode is fun but it involves some driving skills if you loose control, recover a 3 ton truck with 410 HP can be scary, believe me haha !
If wet I would prefer 4Hi, snow is 4Hi for sure, 2WD for dry trails fun...Sport mode in all cases...Sometimes I lock...
Well I noticed the passenger grommet, but was a little scared to pull it out or cut anything and take the risk to damage the harness...
I need to clean my set up anf will show you pics, but my Raptor is running on both Gas and LPG and the whole LPG system takes a lot of space under the hood...
I ended routing the wires behind the passenger wheel well to acces the cabin close some holes near the running boards, the buzzer is located behind the glove box...Easiest way I could find...
Front backup sensors...I know it's not color matched but I was going to set the sensors in the bumper, but read somewhere it was a bad idea to install sensors on a metallic part so...doesn't look bad IMO, what do you think ?
and many Thanks to FRF for all the tips, wiring the AUX upfitters...
Hi guys,
I'm currently installing a set of front parking sensors on my Raptor, four sensors on the front bumper, command module under the hood near the AUX wires, and the last thing is a buzzer to indicate the distance from nearby obstacles, and here is the question : Where can I pass the...
You mean rich of debts ? :signs8:
I decided it was a good idea to spend some cash on a Raptor before we europeans, all sink like the greeks !! At least I'll have a nice truck to run over the rioters when the shit will start haha !!
100k€ for a 2014 Raptor ? Well that's what we pay for our Raptors here in Europe, at least that's the official price for most of the importers...
I'm curious to see if it will still increase in Europe too...
Oh I didn't notice you'r living in Canada...thanks for the advice on the Duratracs !
I need to take some vids of my snow runs, we see too much sand and deserts on this forum...Yes I'm jealous cuz we don't have that in Europe !!
Nice vids, it's close to the conditions we have here in the Alps...That fly by was fast !!
The Duratracs seem to have a good grip, did you test the stock BFGs in the same conditions to make a comparison ?
I'm running the stockers and they'r doing pretty well IMO, considering they'r not...
Check your third brake light, even if it looks clear and your lamps/LED are OK, because on my '13 Raptor, there was still a few water in it, causing the problem IMO (first appeared under heavy rain on the highway)...
Just seal it right, it's an easy fix and many on FRF had this issue...
Thx for the tips, gonna try it...
After digging on FRF on this issue, I think this may come from that "Hood pin" and needs to investigate this way, but two weeks ago I dropped the truck to a local shop to install a LPG system on my raptor so I guess they worked a lot under the hood and may...
Hi guys,
During the last two weeks, I've had a big issue with the factory alarm on my '13 Scab going off randomly, with horn and lights waking up the whole neighborhood...Already 4 or 5 times this happened in the middle of the night. Let's just say it's VERY embarassing...
I was wondering...
I've had the same problem a few weeks ago on my 2013 Scab with only 15 000 miles, on the highway under heavy rain.
After investigating that third brake light, I had a very few water in it, not surprising at the light isn't properly sealed...I had the whole think cleaned, dried and sealed, and...
We had the same situation here with the huge snow falls of last days, we had some fun with friends, blasting through snow banks, that's amazing to see how you don't feel anything as you fly trough the snow, we were like "Wait, where's the snow ?!!" haha !
Not a Raptor but I laughed so hard at this :
Dodge ram Voitures Seine-Maritime - leboncoin.fr
This is what happens when you can't afford a Raptor :supergay:
A quick translation of the text : "Live the American dream with this stunning RAM with its Raptor-like stylish decals"
