Interesting take. I find the center console attractive, the white gauges much better than the boring black, I do have the tailgate step and the SCAB is better looking than the SCREW imo. All Raptors are awesome but something special about a 2010 OG.
Dude! It’s the OG of Raptors! Plus… white gauges . Love mine. But check everything @ugliestdrivingraptor says to check. And I’d take it to get it checked out by an independent. No records, I’d walk. You could be spending 1000s pretty quickly. Just MHO.
Any records on the truck? 150k miles doesn’t scare me if the truck is tight and the records indicate it’s been taken care of properly.
I have a 2010, 120k when purchased and the owner had EVERY single piece of paper, original sticker, records of the every single service always at Ford, etc...
Gorgeous Gen 1. First Gen, best Gen
I have a mint Tux Black 2010 with several mods, 140k miles.
My advice: (and that’s all it is)
1. Fox Shocks rebuild. Look for Hutto, Tx where all they do is Raptor shocks. Got mine, zero issues.
2. Fuse 27 fer sure
3. I’d forego the Whipple and...
Same. Even my wife’s Honda, took in for normal service. 10 days out for “diagnostic” on a little shimmy in the front end. So you can do normal repairs but can’t spend 5 min on the highway? Got it. Lots of long wait times and BS everywhere and every industry it seems
You do realize the Gen 1 is actually a genuine Ford product that started the genre, gave rise to the later Ford Raptors and was produced by your current employer (Ford ) and yet you (though weakly) berate it at every opportunity. Very odd behavior.
Found em. Will paste the link here with part numbers for anyone looking.

Hey Gang,
Looking for a set of OEM black mirror blanks to cover up my fugly Amber reflectors. Searched for part number but I guess I’m not calling these by their proper name so here’s a pic of what I’m looking for.
Bonus points for a link to purchase
Thanks!
