I picked up a new Raptor last week with the recall work completed prior to delivery. The clunk is very present in my truck with only 300 miles so I don't think the recall and the clunking noise are related.
I just noticed mine was making this noise tonight (300 miles). Is there still an inventory issue getting new shocks? I have an appointment for a TSB next week to fix the power inverter fan noise and I’ll mention this to them as well.
I finally had a moment to look at the battery and the negative cable lug was not tight at all. I could pull it off with ease. Easy fix to simply tighten it up, but come on QC!
No - I looked at the battery gauge on the truck and it was at 14.5.
I’ve been driving around and running in and out of a few stores and starts right up. I didn’t lose any radio presets or system changes I made in the settings either. I would assume if for some reason the battery had died or...
The strangest thing happened today. I went to work, and my truck was dead, I mean completely dead. I had zero lights, and my doors wouldn't even unlock. I had to use the key in the keyfob to get into the truck.
Again, ZERO lights on anything. I thought this was strange because even if the...
I got my truck tonight and when I got it home I started to look over some of the known issues listed on this forum. I also wanted to take a peak at the rivets used for the recall. What I was shocked to see was the amount of rust underneath the truck. How can a brand new 80k have this much rust...

Just wait until your truck is delivered to the dealership just for them to say that they need to order parts to do a recall before they can sell it to you. Now, all the waiting prior seems to be a major annoyance compared to the frustration of knowing that the truck is sitting at the dealership...
I wish I would have thought of that weeks ago! The truck arrived at the dealership yesterday so the driving would only be what is needed for production/shipment. I can't believe that dealerships don't have a stockpile of rivets available to use seeing that the vast majority of new F150 both on...
Has anyone had their truck delivered to the dealership, just to have to wait for the recall to be fixed? If so, how long did you have to wait? My dealership said the parts that are needed would take "maybe a week" to get.
What are other people experiencing?
I knew this seemed to good to be true. Dealership just sent me a text saying that due to the recall they need to order parts and it could take a week before i can take delivery.
I got the call this morning that the truck had been delivered to the dealership. My salesman told me they would do the "safety check" in the morning and then get the bedliner spread this afternoon. He never mentioned the recall being an issue for delivery and confirmed that I can pick it up...
There is no Driveshaft issue! Especially on new trucks. There is an insulation issue where a few rivets are needed to hold it up. My mind is blown by how many people think their new trucks are going to be delayed because of this. If your truck had 20K miles of the driveshaft spinning on the...
Since there are 100's of thousands of 2021 - 2022 models on the road currently and the recall didn't tell those drivers to stop driving their trucks, I would say it's safe to drive for the time being. You may not want to put 50K miles on it as over time it could wear out. If I had my Raptor...
