I like this rack as I can take it off when I need to use the truck as a truck. I have a roll top cover to keep things locked and secure and dry. I'm not worried about people stealing stuff while camping so much as on the drive out. I will often take trips that are 6+ hour rides and stop for food...
Thanks guys for all the info. After looking at everything I think Im going to make my own of HPDE plastic (same plastic Decked uses) I can get two 48x96" sheets for about $90 each plus shipping and then buy a cheap rubber bed mat ($90) for a template. I'll come back to this post once everything...
That wouldn't be a good fit for me as 1) I want it to be removable and 2) if I was ever to sell the truck most people are not going to want an expoxy floor in the bed.
I called Tuck Vault today to ask if they could make custom mat using the same material that the top layer of their Vault systems are made of and the lady told me its just wood and I could make it cheaper and easier at home, which got me thinking of maybe just purchasing some HPDE sheets and...
I was looking at the install video of this. Are the ribs that level the matt foam or fabric? What it the top material like? It looks like a fabric but says its made out of Polypropylene, which isn't that a form of plastic?
Yea I just called Decked to see if you can run a top skin without the boxes and they said they don't sell just the top skin which is kind of a bummer as that would be perfect. Basically Im looking for the Decked top without the boxes and added height.
I did find this which is pretty close:

based on the install video it has ribs on the bottom to fill in the gaps:
The problem is I'm building some sliders for a fridge and camp stove set up that I want to mount on...
Maybe on the buitright bed racks?

I have a Front Runner rack and am using their mount but I'm sure that's not what your looking for.
Are we sure its Waze as the issue for me corresponded with the recent Apple iPhone update? I reached out to Apple and made them aware of the issue and even linked them to this thread.
I did the phone removal and add back on - no fix
I did the restart - no fix
Killed all open apps - no fix
What...
Looks like you found the FrontRunner set up. Thats what I have (my rack will be here tomorrow).
I have the Retrax Pro XR bed cover and the Front Runner rack. Note: Front Runner's package on their site is different than what a lot of us are running. For some reason, the kit uses a smaller rack...
Pelican just came out with a line of cases for Overlanding. I use to be in the case business (use to make cases for drones) and Pelican and SKB by far made the best shells. If there were enough people interested I still have my wholesale contact we could do a group buy of sorts.
I also know...
I'm planning on using a 3.5mm to Bluetooth adaptor so I can play the radio over all the speakers. Cheap $20-$30 and easy, and should be better quality than the little radio speakers. Only downside is I'm not sure you can listen to music and radio at the same time.
Hi Guys,
Just picked up a radio and plan on installing in the center console using the PCI trim kit combines with the BulletProof 3rd brake light antenna mount (didn't need the lighting so no need for the more expensive one) but I had a couple of quick questions on the install.
1) Where is...
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking something similar. It seems the actual bedslide has a bracket that uses the factor bed bolts which might not be a bad idea. The problem is I'm trying to keeps the slides to a minimum height-wise so not sure I can make that work.
