Welcome to the forum. Red SCABS rock. I still get compliments and thumbs up on my 19’ RR.
Sign up for the Raptor Assault as it is an awesome benefit of buying a Raptor.
I got my truck 7 days after my Dealer got the notice of shipment. It was 5 days earlier than they expected. That was February last year.
Order Date was 11/30/18. I picked it up on 2/5/19. Only 67 days. They estimated 12 to 15 weeks when they took my order as it was a SCAB and they told me they...
Welcome to the forum. Hopefully you will get it sooner. I ordered my 19’ SCAB and it showed up 3 weeks ahead of the estimated delivery date. I look forward to seeing your pictures of your truck.
The 32218 will work for any trailer you could possibly think of pulling. Follow the setup directions and it should make it easy to pull and enjoy driving.
I’ve pulled trailers for over 40 years. Currently I have a 19’ SCAB and pull a 26’ vacation trailer with 1 slide out. Fully loaded it is right at 6000# which is max for a SCAB. The Raptor is Awesome pulling the trailer. I highly recommend the Husky Centerline TS Hitches. The distribution bars...
My 19’ SCAB pulls my 6000# 26’ travel trailer, 540# tongue weight, DW-stabilizer hitch without any problem. With the bars up/loaded it is within 1/4” of normal/no load height. After pulling it about 2500 miles I decided not to add any additional springs.
The key is the WD hitch being set up...
I live in Indianapolis and it’s mainly salt here.
I had Ziebart do the undercoating which included the inside of the doors and tailgate. They also did their Diamond Gloss coating of the paint. I just had it done for the second time as I have it done each year for 8 years included in their...
Very cool! I’m 64 and a 19’ RR SCAB and love it every day! My wife (42 years) told me to get mine as she was sick of hearing about it for six months before I bought. She loves riding in it but I still haven’t let her drive it. Maybe some day but she will have to ask. Enjoy your Or should I say...
You won’t have any problem towing 5000#. I pull a +/- 6000# 26’ travel trailer with my 19’ SCAB which is only rated 6000# and it pulls great. Make sure you use a WD hitch and use Tow Mode and you won’t even feel like you are towing anything.
You will love your Gen 2 compared to your previous...
Ford Protect, 8 years, 125,000 miles. $0 deductible
Cost $3,000
I hope I never need it but it makes me feel good that I have it after reading all the problems that are shared at this forum.
This forum is great and it has helped me with some of the stupid little Ford things that happen.
Great looking trucks but I am bias as I love the Ruby Red. I’m glad I ordered my 19’ as RR isn’t available in 20’.
You are a better Dad than me. I’ve had mine a year next week and still haven’t allowed my wife or either of my two sons drive it.
Welcome to the forum!
Nice truck and welcome to the Forum.
I pull a 26’ 5000# trailer and use my stock mirrors. You can turn them out and get a decent view. I looked and tried an aftermarket add on mirrors and hated them so I just got use to the stock ones.
I ordered my 19’ RR SCAB and didn’t get the graphics as I...
Nice truck! I love the Ruby Red as I have a RR SCAB without any decals. Get your Raptor Assault booked as it is absolutely worth going. It is amazing what these trucks can do. Welcome to the forum. Cheers from Indy.
Agree the Recaros are awesome looking and I was disappointed that they aren’t made for Big Guys. I’m 6’8” 305# and they are too narrow. I ordered my 2019 SCAB and left them off the order sheet because they didn’t work for me. So unless you are Big, go for it!
I just wanted to share some of the great and not so good things about my 2019 SCAB.
I pulled my 26’ Freedom Express for the first time with the SCAB. I drove a little over 1600 miles (Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York). The truck performed extremely good. Using the Tow mode was fantastic...
Good question and I don’t know. My little brother 6’4” and only 240lbs likes his seats in his 18’ SCREW. They feel a little tighter than mine but that could be the difference between me and him.
I’m laughing my ass off reading the seat comments! I Am 6’8” and 305lbs and I have a19’ SCAB with the 802A seats and absolutely love them. They are by far the most comfortable seats in any vehicle I have ever driven. I was only able to sit and test drive SCREW as there wasn’t any SCABS to test...
