Someone asked me this last week and I happened to find a dyno sheet here on the forum from another member.

This is the full list of vehicles they list the kit as fitting:
They don't specifically list the Raptor but if you're interested in that kit, I can call Magnaflow tomorrow and see if they recommend it for use on the Raptor.
I was just checking on your order and it looks like it was delivered yesterday. Thank you very much for the feedback and make sure you get us some pictures of your new Raptor when it comes in so we can add it to our website photo gallery!
MBRP doesn't weld the hangers on because the kit will fit the super cab and super crew which have different hanger locations. Keep in mind you will need to trim the intermediate pipe 12" if you have a super cab.
There are plenty of cheap muffler options out there too. To have a muffler welded in place of your stock "trash can" sized muffler would be a big help and probably on the better side of $250 all said and done.
You could remove the factory resonator and install a straight pipe in its place. I am not sure what kind of sound that would produce but it would certainly be a little louder.
That should work for you just fine. What you need is a high heat coating and VHT is very well known for their high heat coatings. Confirm any and all available manufacturer recommendations and follow the instructions.
You're probably going to want to remove the exhaust for the painting...
Agreed 100% on principle. I would like to see more dyno testing before I make any further judgment. I think for the highly modified this would be a worthwhile mod, no comment yet on stock or near stock motors.
Getting warmer :hmm: That would actually probably be closer to our cost based on how their discount structures work. But, we can eat Ramen for a few months if you guys want to pay $399.
(just kidding)
Yes? And no.
For performance? Are you going for looks or longevity? Do you have the aluminized steel or stainless steel turn down?
Starting with performance- if you're referring to the effect of a ceramic header coating for the purpose of keeping under hood temps down and exhaust gasses hot...
I would question whether or not they had tuned that test truck after installing the throttle body. Normally the larger diameter throttle body is a worthwhile upgrade in conjunction with other modifications which leads me to believe they didn't tune for the second dyno pull. But if $599 is the...
In that case I didn't mean to insult your purchase. My opinion is just that, but I'd like to hear your feedback on the tuner. Have you already used it?
Haven't had much of a demand for Bully Dog therefore we don't advertise them on our site but we can get them. I almost always recommend a custom tune file for now and later modifications. For the money a custom tune will perform better than a "canned" tune any day, generally speaking.
If you're...
The cold air intake its self may not net you the seat of the pants increase that you're after and with certain intakes the tune is necessary for trouble free operation. When coupled with an aftermarket exhaust and a custom tuner, you will see an improvement in horsepower and 0-60 times with an...
If you're in the market for an intake/exhaust/tuning package feel free to send us a PM for advice and the lowest prices around. We have a working relationship with 5 Star tuning to offer custom deals to FRF members!
We can point you in the right direction for exhaust options and build a package...
An intake, namely the aFe which seems to be most popular with the Raptor crowd will add a seat of the pants power increase, but a tune is recommended and will net you the best power gains/results.
A tune isn't required for just the cat-back. I think you mean the Magnaflow 15588 which we have...
Your profile says your engine is the 5.4L which makes this a great review for me to know. I haven't gotten a lot of feedback on the aFe for the 5.4L Raptor.
