^^ bc screws burn a bit more too. Add a custom tank in the rear of an scab if need be and problem solved. Plus more mileage too than an screw at that point.

...... 2" doesnt make a difference, why are you even going to mid perch is my question. I have a 2012 with a locker so instead of relying on top perch, ill be riding 2" higher on 37's and mid perch. I opt out tearing up my truck from blocks and/or top perch.

This^^ is exactly what i say is my reasons for 37's/boatecs that I have on order. Another member locally, mentioned he doesn't drive to the capabilities of needing 37's which is y he's going 35's, but has the bump stop kit, ect......
Better the ride offroad, the better you can drive her offroad...
Whatever the case, I can only use my left hand for a single paddle style shifting. I know I'm a special case basis in that aspect but it be great to have a single paddle on the left side for both operations, rather than two on each side of the wheel.......

.I prefer having the frame braces extend out around the narrowed (weakened) part of the frame but then again they do have rods else where. I just can't see the threaded eyelets/ rods being stronger compared to RPGs bracing left to right of the soft spot to frame though. Seems...
