Better explanation as this is the way i opted with my lite tape before the recons were out. I try to splice into wires to return to stock if ever need be. This is a much more quicker approach too. 3m has splice connectors with silicone in there for damp conditions at your local Walmart too.
Great! A mod that we can see as well! On my mod list for sure. Theyll Match the big red perfectly! And when my boatecs are on, they'll be more noticeable. That's if my huge tires don't block them that is. You have 35's, rite?
Look in your manual for parking light fuse number, add a fuse and run a line. Or, I would splice onto your side marker wire from your headlights would be the easier of options in my opinion.
I'll be going with amber to match with my running lights. Looks great by the way.
What exhaust you going with cleave? I love the way the roush exhaust sounds but side exit in front the tire is my only option. Ill be going dove tail in the rear
I know what u mean by them quick reading skills as it catches me sometimes by reposting info. Lol, I will post up my truck when its aesthetically looking great in the next week or so. I'm itching now! Hehe.
About tmx and their prices- up to par in my opinion, especially with boatecs quality...
But it's oooooo, so worth it! I wonder if we can run 39" project tires with these boatecs? Never know, one day I might wanna go 39" projects.....one day that is.
Good explanation Dawson. If u find yourself wanting to know more info. Link I posted for ya as well. ;). Guys will help you out tremendously with threads galore as well Ragin.
Johnny, I hadn't received my actual boatecs yet. Mine Should be here next week I hear. The previous picture, I was illustrating how my installer installed boatecs on another truck and bondo'd the front clip into the fenders. But yea, this will be my truck very soon! :-) the boatecs are flawless...
Ill have fender liners. I can let you know what my installer or tmx comes up with.....from what I hear, he'll be adding onto the stock liners and riveting them in.
*HELP* i need info on this RAPTOR's wheels n tire size
35" toyo mt compared to their 37" aren't much difference in weight at all. Great! Thank yas Ragin' for all the info
I'm def doing it rite.. fuel wheels in my opinion are too heavy, even in 17's. boatecs will be to the installer any day and off to Houston I will go once shipping is received. Bought and paid for as of almost 2weeks ago. Can't wait to get my RPG pre-runner bumper so I can hit some areas around...
Boatecs are nice!!!!
. My installer will be also molding the front bumper clip with the fenders as well to satisfy my wants. Not bc its needed on these boatecs but because us raptor owners like myself is that picky. Tmx guarantees me I won't have any probs or they wouldn't sale them to me. I...
First off. The ls460's are OEM so rule out the width comment. Join hidplanet.net and they'll tell you more info in that department.
Second off, OEM projectors might never be a crisp and evenly spreadout beam pattern as aftermarkets with the exception of the LS460's. although, getting better...
Some guys here seem set on 35's being perfect but i think its the fenders keeping most in denial for offroad setup. To me, its like saying a bay boat is the perfect setup to go offshore fishing, You want a bigger boat to take on the possible swells and all other waves disappear and vise versa...
Nice. I'm getting tired of the crappy stock audio and plan to keep this one. I rather stock unless going high end stereo upgrades though. I don't wanna derail your thread but what size speakers would I need to change out the whole system in our trucks? I do have the "700watt system"......
