Them rear square tail lights are nasty! Def takes the rear Sleekness out of the equation. I'd def hop my ass in a bronco with A Raptor makeover in the suspension department. Make it like BJ Baldwin's Daily Off-roader! Talk has been around for quite sometime about the bronco making its way back...
Sweet, that's what I'm hoping could be done!! Your the best cuz! And depending on how much David Venti is going to charge me for his fender flare mod to show off at TRR, I might just grab that mosconi 6to8 from you out there.
I'd be thinking going 3.5 at this point WHEN I mod the suspension, might as well :). Then I could a set of 3.0's for a double bypass setup up front. That's my future plans, just in debate with going currie rear end and linked, do you guys get currie?
K, my plan was to drop down the heat shield but keep the back ones in place to get to the 10mm. Just fold back the shielding, no?
Is the shielding flexible or it's pretty much stiff stuff?
I'll find out come Friday though
Thanks Noah. Did u have to take off the bottom plastic clips holding on the heat shield? U know my situation. I'm trying for the least steps possible here.
Just HOW delicate are these vent clips. About how much pressure did u use slowly prying? I'll be doing a mod of this nature that involves taking off the vent soon before TRR. I don't want any mishaps and not be able to get the vent back on if I do break some clips by accident?
Thank you
HOWE will be my next mod in this department....
J DAMAGE- I have the RPG reservoir and it does the trick but I was wondering. When your trucks standing still, can you turn lock to lock without feeling your pump or it's smooth operation with truck still?
Looks good sky, can u post up some close ups on the bumper to fender corners that you specified you went with? I'd like to see how far you went your build.....
Mosconi amps?! I wish them suckers were as small as my pdx and Focals FPD series. I didn't feel like mounting chit to the back wall......well, more like I didn't feel like getting my buddy to mount the chit back there! Lol
And best of all......sundown are made in the usa!! I'll be installing them in my fox box as I want my seats and hate seeing a speaker box. I refuse to spend cash with custom work, trying to move to suspension. Works out good bc I know there's a lot of new stuffs coming out day by day. I'm also...
Saweeeeet!! I'm stoked. I got the idea from you actually. I forgot about sundown and then when I looked at the specs. My buddy said he'd buy these brand new W3's from me (not that it mattered anyways, I was set on ordering them). These w3's are so easily breakable. Did u see the SD-2 test on...
^^^ that's exactly where I was thinking but I wanted to keep that area for my dual bander open. I'll prolly mount mine in the center console to lock it in. Less worries on such an expensive controller too.
Not unless your doing headers. If It's just from the cat- back, then your good. U might be able to grab more power out of her but honestly at that point, you'd have to be on a dyno to get your. 4-6hp gain. You'll get a gain for sure bolting up....how much is the question but a dyno, can't beat...
Here's my install. I put the amp under the box so I can tune without the need of having to mount on the back wall. I have W3's in there now but my sundown SD-2's come in Tuesday that I'll be swapping them out with. Theres enough room to mount the focal FPD600.4 for mids/high Next to the alpine...
Man! EVERYTIME I'm about to pull the trigger on my suspension setup or build.... Threads like this pop up and makes me PayPal shy! So many things by so many different vendors coming to market! Does SVC favor King shocks on their builds in general?! :-)
Looks good although it would suck to get the "supercharged 600hp" then having a built motor re-tuned...... "Supercharged 600+ HP" makes more sense. Thought I would throw that out there for anyone wanting that option. Once you go blown, you tend to ask for more boost out of experience ;)
Noah,
I know something like this happened to Joe Racca out at the Raptoberfest track while prepping the track a couple weeks before the event. Talk to joe more and he might be able to fill you in. I seriously think it could've been a rock OR a simple hose connector/split ends from ford over...
