MPT may be faster, no one is disputing that. Hard to imagine it would be anything very dramatic. The truck feels like a completely different animal, it's crazy. I do not crave a single additional HP from it now. That's coming from someone who has multiple 9 and 10 sec 1/4mile capable cars too.

I did a 0-60 run yesterday too. Haven't even installed the intercooler yet, just intake and tune. The truck is FAST. Put it in 4A and brake boosted it... Front end lifted up and it just took off! So much faster now. Excellent tune for sure.

Very true. I love absolutely everything about the truck, especially compared to a Gen 1. But let's all be honest here.. the sound of it is it's biggest con. But... It's a con I really don't care about in the grand scheme of things, because the truck is that good overall.

Just a heads up, I am using the Motorcraft sp542 spark plugs which are one step colder than the factory sp550s I pulled from the truck. For tuned forced induction cars, going one step colder works great. Truck idles and revs smoother than factory now and works great with the Whipple tune...

Normal mode doesn't feel like it shifts better to me. In fact, the gears shift too quick and it's always in 9 or 10th gear at low speeds. Was hoping they would have made Normal mode just a little more aggressive.

Installed the intake and tune today, haven't done the intercooler because it won't be simple with my ADD Stealth Fighter bumper. It appears I'll need to remove the entire bumper to replace the intercooler, so keep that in mind if you have an aftermarket bumper. Even without the intercooler...

Google it... they work great in my truck. Idles smoother and took out some hesitation in the mid range. Colder plugs also are a better option when a boosted vehicle is tuned.. Google that as well.

Yep, one makes less power than the other. Just get MPT to do a PRX and a Tow tune. The tow tune is probably the same as the Lars Ulrich/Gearhead tune.. Guy: For transparency purposes, have you been comped the Gearhead tune? Or do you just like buying and trying tunes for fun?
