Ya it's crazy how high it will go up before the rear tires leve the ground.

The hard part is jacking the truck up high enough to get the spring out. Unless you have shop lift.

My son and I are booked for August 16th - 17th 2023. Looking forward to this little adventure with him.

I have the same question about the steps. I will be installing mine tomorrow, I turned everything on in the dash with ForScan and hoping I can control them from the dash also. I have the options up on the Sync screen.

When I tried this on my 2023 Gen 3, Baja mode automatically switch to 4X4 and it would not let me manually switch to 2X4 or Auto.

Also I wired 2 separate relays trigger wires up to 1 Upfitter switch, so I can split the load from the 6 light in half, 3 lights on each relay, and only using 1 Upfitter switch to control them all.

Yes my 2023 does this also, in sport mode. I'm pretty sure it is the transmission down shifting.

A option to think about in your design for the strobe feature, is a remote controlled on off switch. It might be a nice option for some that do not want to run the wires all the way up to the cab. There are several of them out there, this one might even fit inside the 2" receiver hitch.
