Do the fuse relocation, it's inexpensive and fairly easy. I bet that fixes the problem. It's not really the fuse that's the problem but the location of the fuse, it starts getting too hot not making a good connection and can even melt in place. While doing it keep a sharp eye for anything else...
Fixed a ground wire on my front light bar. It would flicker when driving.
Checked torque on Beadlock rings and lug nuts. Checked air pressures on tires. Gonna see if weather permits me to really wash and detail it this weekend.
Yeah that baby is still new!
Well I'm sorry I couldn't be much more help. I think monitoring it like you said is the best course of action given it doesn't have any codes or causing any big issues currently. Hopefully someone else will offer better advice here or you'll find the culprit when...
Same thing my wife's ecoboost expedition is doing and like others have mentioned there is a "Phaser Rattle" at startup Recall. It's a computer reset I believe. The rattle apparently is harmless but annoying as hell and obviously if it can be addressed then it should be. I'm taking it in ASAP...
There's another member with this same concern.
Some of the suggestions given him so far include:
Clean mass airflow sensor
Check for vacuum leaks
Spark plugs, wires, and coils
Checking Injectors and wiring.
Some even suggested it could be something with the fuel pump or filter.
Mine has...
hmmm you said you already replaced the intake, did you take a look at your mass airflow sensor? Think it could need a cleaning?
Just brainstorming here but also my brother has a 2011 that was giving him similar issues and turned out to be one of the coils going bad. The problem wasn't...
Hey how's you know about the radio buzz?
And howd you know that I listen to AM radio!? Lmao
Jk I don't listen to much other than Spotify these days bc I'm sick of my own saved music and hate the radio commercials. Interestingly enough tho I did have engine noise when I did turn on the radio...
Wow man so sorry about your situation, it sounds like you have been a VERY patient person with this dealership. I'm not sure I could do it and would of definitely lost my sh$&@t by the 3rd visit.
You have received a lot of good replies and options already, I'm sorry I can't add much as a...
Wow what a find!. I was leaning towards a possible tuning in the shift points as you originally suggested. My truck has a whipple and originally was tuned to shift hard and would make truck hop even. I Just had it returned and it shifts soo much better but now makes a sound as it shifts, it's...
I bet they do. First time using these general grabbers, I always went with NITTO trail grapplers or TOYO but I got these for a great price and they are great tires. I opted to mount them with the Red inside but red on the outside looks great also.
You're probably right murderedoutSVT, it's just really bugging me because it was connected and now I have a wire dangling there. It doesn't seem to affect anything as far as I can tell. Wonder if it's just some kind of ground related terminal.
Hey thank you Corona Raptor! Good to know location on the 2010. I owned a 2010 scab for 8yrs and it's now my brothers, I'm gonna send him the pic and see if his ford dealership friends can tell us what sensor that is. It could almost be some sort of ground sensor ♂️ Not sure.
