I believe (unfortunately) the future is electric. Just not as fast as car manufacturers would like, no matter how hard they push (You listening AOC!). I don't believe it will be a battery issue.

Although mine is a Gen 1, it would do the same thing. I would take the ground cable off of the battery for 10-15 seconds. Long enough to reset everything. Unfortunately you have to also reset your seat settings.
I think this is legit. The rumor mill has been floating this around for quite some time and, way too many resources are now reporting this.
I believe this will have two consequences:
1) The Gen 2's will depreciate overnight once it is released and;
2) This announcement will stop some Raptor...

Unfortunately, batteries lack distance and torque (in regards to a truck). I think we are at least a decade away from anything close to reliable electric trucks.
I agree with everyone on this. But the truth is (MHO) if Ford does not come out with a V8, it will concede to Dodge (Ram, or whatever you want to call it) like it or not. A vast majority of truck owners (Raptor owners included) would like to see a V8 return to the Raptor.
