In the near future, I will be purchasing a set of Fuel Beasts for my "11 Screw. I am trying to figure out which offset I should get. They come in a 4.5", 5.0" and a 5.75" Offset. I have read a lot on here about the offset, enough that I know (or think) I want to go with either the 5, or 5.75...
I have a 2011 without the OEM Front facing Camera. I will be installing an aftermarket front camera from Alpine and I am looking at different mounting options. I purchased the license plate type mount with it, but I don't like the way that looks. Can someone with the stock set-up take a couple...
I was going to do a little write-up on my install, but this is as good of place as any. I purchased and installed these a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with the outcome. Here are a few pics I took along the way. In the future, if I get the time, I will remove the bumper and mold the bezel into...
I have seen a couple of people asking about the new 9" Alpine so I thought I would share My build... So Here goes
As we all know, the sony system doesn't sound the greatest. At first, I tried adding the Alpine PXA-H800 to the system. I'm now much of a processor guy and just wasn't happy with...
I "HAD" the 801A package. Mine is a 2011 though. I don't know how much difference there is. I LOVE the new 9 inch. It did take a lot of work to get everything to look/work right. I had to do a lot of cutting. I will do a little write-up on it when I get a chance. The bottom pic was my first...
Been a while sense I posted, but here is a quick update on my Alpine 9" install. Got everything back from hydro and got some of it installed today. I need to send the small narrow piece between the radio bezel and the console piece back to get re-done (looks like the film got ripped when they...
The Alpine PXA-H800 with the controller is a nice processor with tons of tuning capabilities. Much better than their older porcessors. You can control fading with the optional controller. Its kind of expensive though.
Here is a Pic of the bezel so far. As you can see, with the size of the alpine head unit being so big, the controls will need to be modified. The oem radio controls don't work with the new radio, but I would like to retain the use of the AC controls on the dash as well as the ones on the radio...
Nope, not gonna raise it, and here is why... (and tell me what you think). The stock screen sits back in the dash almost 1/2 inch. This radio will be more flush with the bezel, so I am hoping that it will help cut down on the glare. I can't set the radio back any further unless I make my own...
Just a quick pic of what it looks like in the dash so far. Not much room left on the sides! Don't mind the mess under the radio, Once I get everything figured out, I will pull it all out and make everything nice and tidy. The piece that surrounds the radio is off with the bezel right now. My...
Small update... The head unit itself is pretty awesome, in the guage mode, it will tell you several things; air intake temp, G-force, and several other things that I have'nt looked into too much. A couple of things I have noticed though are: the screen sits about an inch lower than the stock...
So... I purchased the X009-U kit for my truck. I had the factory Nav and all of that, but was never happy with the sound. I tried the Alpine PXA-H800 Processor and molded the controller in where the Hazard/Traction control switch was... but I didn't like the processor, too many steps. So far I...
Thats the same one I used. very simple to install.

I went with TREO because there isn't much to choose from in Lincoln NE. I'm pretty good friends with the owner of TREO. He built a lot of the first...
Here are a few pics from my build... Its in a 2011 with the stock HU. I am using strictly TREO Engineering Speakers and amps for this build. The processor was a Alpine 660, but I was unhappy with the results and moved up to a PXA-H800, tons of tune-ability. I have two 80.4's bridged and those...
I have two 12" SSp's under the back seat in mine. They are in a ported box and they friggin POUND. Running the 2000.1 SSX, those are some amazing subs/amps.
