Getting my 880H tomorrow. Still no antenna for it, but my eye is on one (probably BigJ's). I plan to install the head unit and remote controller ASAP. More to come...
I got lucky and Corey and me from RPG did my install at the TRR this spring. Those guys are great and I know the install is spot on (as they supervised and did a lot of the hard stuff). Probably time for me to recheck torque since i've run it a bit since then.
bass boats should be relatively light, right?
I pull my deckboat regularly and it makes the rear end sit relatively low (bed is usually loadeed too as we're camping). But no huge steering/mgmt problems. Boat is about 5k lbs loaded (not including trailer) and the bed usually has a couple...
I agree. Just my opinion. Once the rear end is setup with stage 3, you'll probably want to immediately go to front coilovers (at least) to balance out the new feel for the truck. The rear is so much responsive, sticky to the terrain and just downright soft. You'll hear yourself hit the bumps...
I'm may just run with a small external mounted speaker with my 880 somewhere inconspicuous, but where i won't bonk my or my passenger's head. These take PL-259 antenna connectors I'm assuming?
I have standard and I'm on mid perch. I pretty much ride the bumps when I'm hauling the boat, but I do that conservatively. The offroad and onroad feel (not hauling) is awesome and way surpasses stock.
RPG stage 3 (rear bumps and leafs). You can swing by and check mine out whenever you want.
I'd love to go front coilovers next to make the front as nice as the rear feels.
barely. I have to have a leg and a shoulder hanging out of the drivers side window and I'm hunched over like a 100 yeah old grandma. I have to get it going downhill to build momentum to keep up to the speed limit :893karatesmiley-thu

i thought I read on here 6-12 months ago that you could check error status codes from the sony nav unit.
But, I just dropped off the truck at the dealer and took their shuttle to work.
Becoming good friends with the service manager I've been working with lately. I'll have to find out what his...
That's the one I have on the way. Shipped yesterday and I should have it in hand on Monday. Trey is more of an expert on radios than me, but I'll have a review up shortly after I get it hopefully.
Dang! Why do you do these things the minute after I make a purchase!!!
Joking...this is a good deal. I have the handheld and it works really well for the price paid.
This is a good chase package (turn key kit) with an icom 5021 mobile transceiver. I almost jumped on it, but I wanted something with a remote controller.
