bed covers.. when off roading.. do they stay in place?

I offroad in Colorado with my Bakflip F1 all the time. I even did the Texas Raptor Run with it on and it never once had a problem. That said, I'll probably be taking it off for the longer offroad trips from now on given the bedrack that's coming for those trips.

2012 raptor - a big disappointment. Not for desert trail.

Nice job. Yeah, my install took longer than I expected, but I fabb'ed a couple brackets for the antenna before I got it the way I like it. I've been scanning frequencies all weekend. Got most of my local fire, police and ambulance dispatch in memory. Also, put in a couple frequencies we...

    4 SALE : Bi-Xenon Projector Retrofit Headlights

Did mine to the LED running/clearance lights. The wires are right there. One christmas tree backet to get out for easy solding/splicing. so the LEDs evil eyes come on upon entry/exit, running lights setting, and when the headlights are on.

    Backlit SVT logo

Ripped mine out. Started getting a bad feeling about it overheating/shorting out/etc and causing major problems. I left the light strips in the vents for a red accent. But, disconnected the transformer and all the wires. Going to need that upfitter switch soon anyway. :893karatesmiley-thu

Here's the light side with the rubber foot on it. It's screwed on and there's some good space between the end of the bolt (that poked the cab) and the end of the rubber. That foot is meant to support some heavy networking equipment and is very stiff with some softness.
